Wait wait wait the IGN video doesn't count as a gameplay trailer, right?

I hope not
Unfortunately for us, the teaser image for the gameplay video (the one of the pride demon) was shown as a clip in the multiplayer teaser. Ergo, I wouldn't hold my breath for a separate anything. It would be a wonderful surprise if I were wrong, though.
There had better be a bloody big announcement coming in the next 2 days because as far as I am concerned DAMP is a betrayal and not worthy of even being news. So what is the real big announcement Bioware?

Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it isn't important news.
Personally, I intend to cheerfully ignore it.

and I hope you enjoy it...But it should be its own title.

and if it were im sure you would also be complaining that it somehow takes away from the game you deserve and want and need.

I'd be annoyed, but I would recognise it as an attempt to introduce a new aspect into a franchise without potentially sacrificing a already established SP game.

There's no sacrifice from the SP game given that the MP team is entirely independent of the SP team. AKA they can easily co-develop their portions w/o either side losing something due to overworking one team.

This is the big announcement, whether you want it to be or not.
You can keep complaining all you want, and keep on using the moronic and misinformed argument about how it's going to ruin the single player aspect (which it won't, because it's 2 entirely different development pools and design teams, each having a budget set aside since 2+ years ago) and how you don't have access to an entire ending because you don't want to play it (which you DO have access to, because in Mass Effect 3 you could still get the ending anyway, you just didn't get the cheesy, 5 second clip added onto the ending, a 5 second clip, which, was eventually retconned and removed from the game anyway).

That's unfortunate. I hoped for a seperate trailer, since these guys were talking over the video. :/
Was multiplayer the big announcement?

I never mentioned the ME3 ending issue myself. I might "Like" posts that mention it. If you read my posts you would have seen that I see it as a betrayal of what DA was a Single Player only experience. That can never be said again because that lineage ceases with this game and for people who don't like multiplayer at all this is an important distinction.
Welp, I was wrong. I take it back. xD

nah a trailer would be just gameplay produced by BioWare
not something IGN put together
