I'd wager on Multiplayer too. I'm hoping for either some form of Co-op or Arena based multiplayer. Something along the lines of the ME3 Multiplayer, where you play as agents of the Inquisition would be fairly cool. Just completing like minor missions against Red Templars/Darkspawn/Venatori/Whatever
"Big announcement" scheduled for later in August

I'd love to see an ME3 type multiplayer. Or a co-op mode, that plays out like The Old Republics group content.

I don't think they'd be excited for a delay.
I don't know, games journalists are kind of odd, they seem to get excited by lots of things which regular gamers hate. ![]()
Personally, I don't know what the announcement will be, but multiplayer does seem like a likely candidate, like it or not.

A little piece of me is thinking it'll be some kind of information on MP. Could be revealing the last LI's. Confirming they are releasing CC as the demo, say for October. I don't see it being another delay.
Overall, I'll be optimistic because that is my nature. ![]()

How ****** bitter can some of you get? Don't like it, don't ****** play it.
And why would you call it hack and slash button mashing when the engine will be the same? If the MP is hack and slash you bet your arse the SP will be too.
Can I get some of that salt for my fries?
If ME3 was any indication, then the likelihood of a multiplayer function being anything similar to the singleplayer is slim.

I'm counting on it, in fact.

Well, I am personally hoping for the announcement and demonstration of an amazing PC UI. That truly is the only thing I am missing yet from their released info.

Because multiplayer adds value to the game for many players, and because BioWare has been putting MP into its games since the beginning.
Am I the only one who remembers that DA:O was originally going to have a multiplayer only campaign? And the OUTRAGE when they announced they'd dropped it? How people said they were neglecting their loyal PC fanbase who'd been with them since BG?

Most likely DA Keep open beta or DA Keep launch date.
MP reveal seems unlikely with only 3 months left for game launch.
As I recall, ME3 MP was announced about 5 months before the game launched.
I personally do not see the logic of even having MP in this game.
With game time content of 150 hours and that does not include future DLCs, with the most amount of companions, most amount of romances, the whole being an actual leader of an organiztion, etc, how many players are going to be playing MP ? How many players will even have time to play a hack and slash MP ? How many people will even want to play MP ?

As long as the multiplayer is different from M3.. IWhere the Inquisitor will need War assets to win against the final boss... The only way to raise the WA is through multiplayer.. ![]()

If it's multiplayer, I doubt it's going to be a big part of the game. Announcing it less than three months before release, when the game is already feature complete, seems to indicate it's not exactly a big selling point.

Maybe if the crafting system is extensive enough.. The 'multiplayer' is actually a trading post.. Where players can trade weapons, armors, loots and stuff.. Lol..

Really ? I remember the old forum and DA:O back from when they showed that mock-up version of the game on an upgraded NWN engine...and I don't remember there every being any talks about DA:O having mp.
Than again I'm pretty anti-mp so maybe I surpressed the memory of it ![]()

I hope it's genuine multiplayer but it could easily not be. It could be an announcement for future content in the series, it could be a third party tie-in webgame, it could be some sort of peripheral application like the keep. It could be a demo. It could be the character creator getting an early release. It could be Bioware Bazaar II. All sorts of possibilities.

Given how much they've talked about taking inspiration from Skyrim, a modkit would make more sense than multiplayer.
But I agree it's more likely to be multiplayer.
A toolkit would go down pretty well. I suspect that would be even more popular (on the forums at least) than multiplayer.

I wonder if it could be possible to have a segment of the game where you play as your Grey Warden and another one where you play as your Hawke. You could switch out between them and the Inquisitor to solve some important plot thing. Maybe that could explain Hawke's presence in the Fade? Making our former protagonists part of the Inquisition would sweeten the deal for me. They wouldn't be forced in as companions but would live their own adventures in the background, only though we'd play as them once in a while to solve important issues like what I just mentioned. And if they're all alive by the ending(s), maybe they could all meet up somewhere and celebrate or just chill together while sparring or throw a party... I dunno... I just really want to see my former Playable Characters one way or another. Specially Hawke.

Didn't they a;leady say a modkit isn't on the table at the start of things if memory serves, would love to see it though.

Ugh, explain to me why people keep on saying "multiplayer'? Seriously how does multiplayers work? If a player(s) freezes and setup his/her combat system how will it look to the other players? Explain to me how does this multiplayer works?
