On the EA gamescom 2014 Press Conference video we see the team standing around the world map as you chose a mission and on it are some icons. Now the dagger I am sure are were the player are at the moment. But what does the pyramids and the flaming eye symbols stand for? (I tried to find a pic but I couldn't)

 

My thought are that the pyramids are the ones you send your advisers to and the flaming eye symbol are story mode missions.

 

Edit: I also saw an bird symbol or something like it. That was the mission he chose.

Those are Illuminati missions and Saruon missions respectively
