Does anybody know how the game will handle impossible imports?
For example, thanks to a mod, my Grey Warden is a Dwarf Commoner Mage.

Everything is done through the Keep, so no.
They will be ignored, I would assume.
I'm more curious about how the Keep will handle bugs - will it just ignore parts of the game we actually played? Like my first Warden ended up with Zevran and my first Hawke bedded him in that quest. Later I found out it wasn't supposed to be possible. I guess the Keep will just retcon that into 'never happened'?
I take it then that they'll simply cut out the options that show Morrigan was killed, the Dark Ritual was denied, and the Grey Warden kept the book?

Thats a bug? What, so only Isabela can sleep with both the Grey Warden and Hawke? Thats no fair.

I don't think you upload saves into the Keep, but start from scratch. So it's not going to be an issue unless the Keep has the exact same bug.

You didn't understand my question. I was wondering if bug fixing will retcon our decisions and supersede remaking our actual games. For that instance, I'd like to reproduce what actually happened in the game but since it seems to have been a bug, it appears that I will not be able to.

Even without the bug, Zevran could end up sleeping with both if your Warden ended up with another LI.

I'd assume that if you romanced Zevran iin DAO and tick that box then you wont get the option to tick the box that Hawke, Bela and Zev had a threesome, since it's impossible. It'll probably have the same mesaure to prevent it as any other impossible senario.
However, that's said with no knowledge of how the Keep works at all.
Why would you think that you would be able to use that port in the first place?
Mods and exploits won't be recognized, I imagine. I'm looking at you, people who romanced both Leliana and Morrigan.
I take it then that they'll simply cut out the options that show Morrigan was killed, the Dark Ritual was denied, and the Grey Warden kept the book?
They won't be "cut out". The writers will have to provide an explanation for such things, such as Morrigan survived being attacked by the Warden and remains pissed off at him or her.
why would you want to create an anti lore character?
To each his own. I suppose there are even more lore breaking character such as character with Hatsune Miku hairstyles (long twin tails) or metagame items that allow them to be king/queen regardless of race or romance everyone at once. I will never understand why some people want to exploit something like this knowing that the future import won't allow their "custom" choice to be made, but as I said to each his own.
I don't think the Keep will have such option nor recognize this at all.
So save imports won't even be available on the PS3 and 360 version? I could of sworn I read that save imports would work the way they always have on the PS3 and 360 but have they also went with the Keep?

They appear to have completely done away with the traditional import system, including on PS3/360.

Because playing the game as anything other than a mage is boring but I still want to experience the Dwarven Origins. I've played through all origins. Some of them twice. I need help.
Note: This is not true of the second game. Playing a mage in DA2 is pretty awesome but playing as a Thief is a lot of fun too because of all the movement.

Unlikely.
Default Warden is a Dalish who died - therefore the ritual was denied.

Yeah they have some wiggle room on the death (which is bogus, the Grey Warden couldn't grab her? Really?)
But as for the Dark Ritual, she needed a Grey Warden to lay with her and then run off and kill an Archdemon. I refused and there's no way in hell Alistair laid with her without me endorsing it. Her window of opportunity closed. What did she find an emergency back up Archdemon and another Grey Warden to seduce? That would be quite an a--pull.
Can she pull in the existing Archdemon soul without laying with a Grey Warden? If so, why on earth would she agree to sleep with Alistair who she hates?
You could say "Well obviously thats why she's going to the Eluvian" but she goes to the Eluvian even if she performed the ritual with you so thats not what she's there for.
Whats worse, if the Grey Warden did refuse the Dark Ritual and chose to sacrifice himself, and Morrigan managed to perform the RItual anyway then the writers are just saying "ha ha sucker! should have had sex and lived because you killed yourself for no reason."

This a fact or are you just guessing?

You don't upload any save files at all. Everything is done through the keep, so the bugs are non-existant in the keep.
