Let's look at it like this.
Warden can die, Hawke cannot.
Warden can be multiple races of multiple Origins, Hawke is always a human from Lothering.
Warden has no Voice Actor, Hawke does have a Voice Actor.
Warden is the Hero of Ferelden, however the Warden doesn't have to be Warden Commander(due to possibly dying) and another random Warden can take up that position. Hawke is always the Champion of Kirkwall and the Circle always falls in DA2 no matter what you do.
Mage vs Templar Conflict - Warden has very little to do with that, Hawke was there from the start and no matter what decisions were made they're always a Rallying Cry for the Conflict. There's a reason Cassandra wanted Hawke so much.
Possibly religious war between the Chantry and the Qun being in this game or future DLC(This game "does" have a Post-Game apparently so the DLC could be set after the game's event with a Quanari invasion somewhere). Hawke is tied heavily to this, the Warden has nothing to do with the brewing religious war.
Darkspawn aren't a big deal here. Mages, Demons and Templars are.

Based upon that, especially the lack of Voice Actor and possibly dying, I have very little hope that we'll see the Warden. That doesn't mean we wont hear of the Warden and what they may be doing. All I'm saying is that because of these things it would make it really hard to implement the Warden in the same capacity in DA:I as they can with Hawke without fan rioting over "My Warden doesn't sound like that" or the such.
