I want to punch that guy for not wearing the uniform properly. I don't care if it's fanservice, but you do not where your ACU trousers without the tan t-shirt. Ever. And the tags are wrong too. You keep them on the same chain. And you don't keep the black rubbers on by default.

Sorry, I'm a military man myself, and the hollywood sexualization of the military is rather irritating, especially when it raises unjust expectations of the military. I dated a girl who thought everyone in the Army looked like Channing Tatum and were all High speed, low drag Airborne Rangers.

 

What the hell!?  I don't even KNOW half of these Australian women! Let alone any of the others!

I'm a major Australophile. Ever since I lived there for two years when I was 16, I've had a massive adoration of their culture, their geography, and especially their women.

I worked in the army my whole life as well so it's not like I don't know how a uniform should look like, although every countries uniform look different of course but in this case I didn't exactly pay attention to the uniform you see.. I was too busy looking at the guys amazing face and body! Say what you will to that

 

Eh, pretty boys like that are usually the scrubby recruiters who lie on your information which ends up getting you called to the CO's office in Week 5 of BCT and told that because your recruiter lied to get you into the Army, you're getting an ELS discharge, which doesn't exactly look good on your resume, since employers ask you why you weren't able to make it through Basic.

 

And that body is unrealistic for a lot of guys. I know Special Forces guys that have a beer gut and could probably wrestle this guy with one hand and win easily while taking a ****** with the other. The only people in the military I know who look like that are the ones who have the kind of job that's easy enough for them to look like this. Everyone else has important work to do.

 

Plus, that is very clearly the UCP utilized by the United States Army. Few other militaries use that pattern, and I doubt they're going to be making a movie about the Philippine Military Police or Mexican Special Forces. Hence why I think it should be subject to uniform standards.

Hahaha You are so very funny! It's an actor crush for crying out loud LOL. Although we did have some pretty good looking fellas where I worked.. hmm.. Anyway, that body isn't unrealistic for guys here in Denmark, I am not saying it should ever be something a guy should aim for, I am not shallow but I've seen lots of guys here have such bodies, at the gym especially LOL

 

I see it too. I've got the lean pasty runner's body that doesn't have a lot of definition with muscles or looks particularly good, but it's still satisfying to put them to shame with push-ups and sit-ups and runs. 

 

Having nice muscles doesn't mean you're really all that in shape. Too many girls though think otherwise. It's not always a done deal, since there are definitely other ways to get into a woman's head, but if you can look good, you've got the advantage.

Look you are lecturing the wrong person here... I worked in the Army plus I go to the gym 3 times a week, so I know exactly what it takes to get in shape, I'm not some dumb chick who only goes for the looks and has no brain herself. I have a certain taste but I am definitely smart enough to know that personality comes first always.

Eh, I see a lot of double standards in my day to day life, especially in Chicago, the Granola Girl capital of the Midwest.

 

Women do the whole empowerment thing, while holding double standards towards men. It's why I'm disillusioned with modern feminists. It's basically objectivism (the philosophy by Ayn Rand 'winces'). It's justified when they do or say something, but any different from anyone else and it's repugnant and repulsive.

All the main ME girls were definitely pretty hot.

I agree, Miranda was pretty interesting, which makes it a shame her ass is what people (and the camera at times) focus on.

In all fairness (and trust me, I'm one of the more well-known Miranda-romancers on the forums, or at least my previous accounts were, so I'm known for espousing this well), BW's attitude towards her wasn't really that positive. Casey Hudson outright described her as a temptress figure that Shepard, in the absence of their ME1 love, would go to. She's treated as a Bond-girl to a certain level, eye candy who is to be set aside upon the passionate reunion with the ME1 love (aka, the 'true' love). And she's the only female LI to get that treatment as well.

 

That said, in ME3, especially with Citadel put in the game, her content and romance is improved so much that she even rivals Tali and Liara as the main female LI for MaleShep. Her relationship feels much more fulfilling.
