I hope I used the right spelling for advisers. I've always wanted to like Cullen, but I have always felt "meh" about him. So I am hoping in Inquisition, I can form a personal (non-romance) relationship. Having our Inquisitor actually care for the people we work along side with.
Will we able to form close bonds with our advisers?

If they are romance options, then they probably have enough non-romantic dialogue to form friendships as well. At least, I hope that's the case.
Even though Leliana isn't a romance option, that applies to her as well... what I'm trying to say is that I think the writers put a lot of effort into making each advisor seem like a real person, and so we'll be able to be friends with all of them if we want.

I know Bioware is always hard at work, I look forward to what they will deliver in making it a personal experience with the characters. I want Cullen to be a Dragon Age bro.

We were able to do the same thing in the last 2 games, I don't see Bioware changing that.

Yes, we've alway been able to form close relations with companions and a handful of non-companions. I just wonder how relationships will playout with advisers going beyond the professional stance.

I always enjoyed the brief interactions between Hawke and Cullen when they were on friendly terms in DA2, so hopefully the Inquisitor will be able to have a deeper friendship with him. For some reason I've always liked the character, even when he was a confused youngster in DA:O.

Look forward to getting to know all my advisors and support staff within the inquisition. After all running around stabbing stuff only gets you so far (despite the best efforts of my warden and hawke to prove otherwise in their adventures....) It should be interesting to see if they can offer varying methods of resolving say taking a castle. One offers you lyrium bombs, another pulls maps and shows you a secret passage into the base, another recommends that you use trebuchets to bring down the walls so that when you choose an option it factors into that event to help make it feel unique to that situation
