Wow, a lot of.. tension here, no? Calm down people. Everyone has different opinions.
I'd love to see Merrill again by the way. DA2-crush of mine, hehe.

With iron and lightning and fire?

I would love to see Merrill again.
I like Merril too, but she had better be kill-able if she shows up.

Blood and Iron...Not as fun but it works i suppose.
Well Krieg then...
I wish there was a way to hack into other peoples games and kill their PC wouldn't that just be amazing?
These threads inspire me to make my canon as Dalish-y as possible.
My Warden was Dalish but she wasn't quite Dalish enough, I think.
I'm now tempted to make my Inquisitor a massive zealot just so I can imagine how much people would hate her if she was an NPC. C:

And then just go like this?

Yes, that'd be awesome.
And I understand people want to kill Merrill, and I'd be perfectly fine with that option, but I don't think I'll do it. Just love her too much.
I wonder if my Inquisitor can get his hands on an Eluvian. Set up an eluvian in each of my keeps to help me keep tabs on my men, supply keeps that are under siege, reinforce the garrisons with more men, having quick exchanges of information.
Why, the utility is near endless. The works and artifacts of the elves are truly amazing, and Merrill's work will truly be the cornerstone in helping me build up my Inquisition.
Or course, since Tevinter seized such artifacts and only got fancy communicators yet Briala and Morrigan both transport people with ease probably means that I'll have to show my Inquisitor to be an elf friend to get such useful tools and their full utility.
Man, I love Merrill all the more, especially since her work on the eluvian has so clearly paid off. ![]()
And then? Reload?
Talk about it on the forums because I'm just such awesomesauce everyone wants a taste of it.

Morrigan is more likely to be of use than Merrill, seeing a how she can be convinced to trash it

My Dalish was a Ranger who just wants to hang out in the forest with her pet giant spider so she wasn't 'hardcore Dalish'. Her spider's gonna be dead in DA:I, I just know it.
My idea of Dalish canon would be, Dalish Warden, Hawke romancing Merrill on the friend path, Dalish Inquisitor.
Hmm, I wonder if my Inquisitor can commission Merrill to construct eluvians. She's done it already.

Beyond them being disorientating and painful for humans to use?
Which presumably the Inquisition would be primarily made up of.
Which to me would impact their "usefulness" beyond their rarity.
Utility after all is key.

Because that ended so well, the last time she did it.

No bear? I preferred the bear.
I wish she could have rode him into battle, because hell yeah.

I think Hawke should just steal the ones Briala has and gift them to Merrill.

Spiders are edgier.
riding pets would have been nice though
*writing notes*
Merrill and her eluvians, one in each keep controlled by the Inquisition. Check.
Contingent of elven soldiers in each keep. Still need to get.
Offer Briala aid of the Inquisition to help all elves.... hmm. Scribe! (lol)
Build up lyrium trade with the dwarves so I won't have to rely on blood mages for amplifying power. Check.
Build up good relations with the Grey Wardens and help them fight darkspawn in areas where Inquisition isn't busy.....on my to-do list.

at least there's finally a halla in DA:I.
Still, I want a bear mount.

There is? I thought that mount shown in the deluxe edition was a not-halla (unless you mean something else).
Still, I want a bear mount.
Well, there are bears in DA:I so keep the hope alive!
