Well, there are bears in DA:I so keep the hope alive!
Would a bear rug carpet in Skyhold count?

Other way around, actually.
"Nicht durch Reden und Majoritätsbeschlusse werden die großen Fragen der Zeit entschieden [...] sondern durch Eisen und Blut."
not as catchy though
There is? I thought that mount shown in the deluxe edition was a not-halla (unless you mean something else).
Yeah, I've heard it isn't actually a halla, but it's a big white-ish deer thing with horns.
Halla enough for me, anyway. :S

Well, it doesn't move.
It would have to be a magic carpet.

Magic Bear Carpet would be awesome.

The Unicorn is better!
That thing sounds 2spooky4me.
It just needs to be on fire all the time, then I might consider riding it around.
Yeah...I kinda killed the Clan...even though I didn't want to! I just wanted to help Merril but that bit me in the ass ![]()
I think "iron and blood" is plenty catchy, but that's how I originally learned it. On account of being German and all.
Ich spreche Deutsch nicht sehr gut

There there. Given the wtf of the dialoguce choices I'm sure a lot of people who didn't want to kill them ended up doing so.

And vice versa.
My Aggro!Hawke picked the 'if you touch her I'll gut you' option so I guess you can say I wasn't surprised that went south.

The righteous do not fear death.
Or in this case rather the self righteous.
Oh, I wouldn't try to compete with Sam...
wait. You changed your avatar??? D:
Yeah...
that TR stuff pissed me off and I was kind of getting tired of it anyway.
Plus Leliana is my waifu obvs and she nakies ![]()

See, I thought the dialogue choices were appropriate. Things got very, very bad, and there was really only one way for Hawke to talk their way out of the situation.
Personally, I like the Dalish and I would love to see them. Especially if you are playing the Dalish Inquisitor and you meet his/her clan. Do I think we might see Sabrae clan? Doubtful, honestly, but it might be possibly, we just don't know.
As for killing the clan...I always try to avoid that option. Simply because I didn't like to kill them. They were in the right to be angry at Merrill because she turned to blood magic. Even though she had good intentions, it is because of her actions that eventually led to Marethari's death.
I wouldn't mind seeing the Dalish warden's clan, considering at the end of DAO, my Dalish elf basically said he was going back there anyway. (Apparently he didn't.
)
It would be good to see how their development of the clan went considering Merrill and the Marethari went cray-cray on them. I hope they got someone sensible.
editing to add: I don't know why Merrill is being emphasized in the title so much. It's not like she's a part of the clan anymore, so she won't be there or have anything to do with them. They wouldn't take her back even if she wanted, considering that all but the Keeper wanted her dead anyway.

True but I'm not sure why they'd take Hawke's word anyway.

They're the first one to take responsibility for Merrill's Blood Magic, or at least claim so.
Not really. Asunder makes it pretty clear that most people despise what Anders did, and that the wheels for the Mage rebellion were already in motion. His actions earned him nothing but disdain and were ultimately pointless.
The only thing he sped up was the Annulment itself.
Yep. Instead it went the other way. They closed the school and mages were no longer allowed field trips unless absolutely necessary. And maybe it was getting more people to side against mages. I think that maybe the reason in DA:I so many Templars have left the Chantry and want extreme handling of mages (as in kill them all) are because of what he did.
I like the idea of his action making it worse for mages to get freedom because it completely ruins his plan.

Honestly Anders sounds more like he was huffing lyrium straight out of a vein then some revolutionary.

Lol, exactly! I was like "Wait...Wait..WAIT...I-I'm the diplomatic Hawke...can we...um explain...please...pretty please?" Well we all know how that turned out
So how do you keep the clan from dying and help Merril, is that possible?

I, myself, didn't like it. That you would be forced to kill them all if you didn't take the blame instead of being able to tell them what happened. If it had only been the ones outside the cave, that would be one thing, but the whole clan throwing away their lives just like that. But, IMO, much of it was the Keepers fault. She DID tell everybody "the hard truth" about the risks with Merrill witch ended with them telling horror stories about her and believing she was a monster so horrible that one would rather die than be near her, as with Pol.

Yes. I don't recall where, but there's a dialogue choice were you say you'll make sure Merrill's Blood Magic won't hurt anyone else.
