GOGs > Modern Warfare 3 > Crap indie games

For all your crap indie games and 10 year old games. So at least the hipsters have something to tip their fedora wearing wallets at.
Witcher Series, Divinity series, Wasteland 2 (confirmed it will be released on gog.com), Devolver digital games. Try harder.
And I find it funny you call people who like gog.com hipsters when you're sporting the usual anime avatar. Should I call you a wabbanese?
Now that's settled; more reason why gog.com > steam. Universal price (U.S. Dollars) no DRM (yes, none, zero, you buy it, you own it) great extra content when you buy games (art work, soundtrack, manuel) which you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for. Treats you, the consumer, with respect, not a criminal.

Crusader Kings, Bioware games, Activision games, Civilization, Total War, but hey, at least I get buggy witcher 2 to pass the time, which I could have gotten from anywhere else for probably a better deal.
And call me whatever you want, if name calling is all you can really do. Heck, it's the internet, I'd be surprised if you didn't throw base insults based on a persons preferences.
And why should I give a crap about DRM? I'm not an end of the world conspiracy nut enough to start rationing bottled water, canned food, and let a fear of DRM control my preferences.
So to recap, I don't like gog because I think their game selection sucks and caters to a specific type of people, and you got a major cramp in your glutes and now its hurting bad.

It's ok, I farted it in your general direction. My apologies if it doesn't smell like ramen.

It's all good, probably not even in the same hemisphere anyway so I wouldn't know either way.

I'm no GOG fanboy (as in I don't blindly defend them), but I do like the site. But Witcher 2 'buggy'? For sure there were bugs, but certainly no worse than some of the games by the devs you listed. I guess people see what they want to see. GOG has a fair number of newer games available as well, but they (so far) definitely cater to specific tastes. Having said that, I haven't yet seen anywhere that has the selection Steam has though.
But let's cut the insults (this is directed to both you and Ridwan), okay?

But what's with all the hate on indie games? There's some great indie games out there and wether or not they're created by independent developers has little to do with hipsters.

Oh boy, some people get into arguments about seriously silly stuff

To be fair, way too many indie games are going the retro style and it's getting played out.

I bought witcher 2 twice because the game didn't spawn an npc I needed to interact with to get out of floatsam. Over. And over. And over again. I bought it when it was still going for 60 bucks and the **** broke so I returned it.
Then about half a year later its on sale for a couple bucks so I figure "eh, why not. Surely it can't happen again."
It happened again. ****** arm wrestle guard never showed up.
so **** the buggy game and **** the witcher series. I'm waiting for Cyberpunk and hoping they fix the glitches in their games by then.

Fair enough, but Shovel Knight looked great for example. Kinda like a Dark Souls sidescroller.

Ever released for the ME series or in general? I get the first (though I found the corny Citadel DLC better) but the second is a little over the top.

Surprised to hear it happened twice to you on two different copies. I can see why you've got the opinion you do on the series. I've had no issues like that with The Witcher series, but I've had a crappy experience with a couple other games - which has made me say pretty much the same thing about them. I guess everyone has a game or series like that.

I'd probably still put LotSB in the running for one of the best DLCs ever. At least out of the ones that I've played.
Although personally I would prefer an expansion pack like we used to have to DLC.

Eh, I thought LotSB was much too focused on Liara and the combat wasn't anything new either. Not bad, but not amazing either.
Dark Souls' Artorias DLC was probably the best I've ever played, though the DA:O DLCs were also all great(certainly better than LotSB imo)

Is it really? I tend to think BioWare is one of the only companies that can produce satisfying SP DLCs. I've only played Dark Souls for 4 hours so I never bothered with the DLC, but I'll keep that in mind.

Still better than Firewalker.

Matter of opinion I guess, but I agree that BioWare are among the few companies with good DLCs. Borderlands and Borderlands 2 also had some very good DLCs.

these were originally part of ME2 but were cut out so ME2 could be released soon as possible. when ME2 first came out, here were mixed reviews and some sources here on this forums confirmed it was rushed out by EA.
Rather than repeat yourself, you could show some actual evidence (which may exist).
And note, evidence is not one source with the developers saying "we wish there was more we could have included" which is a pretty common desire. If every incomplete idea that is later released as dlc means that a game was rushed, then your definition is pretty bad, no offense.

Good point. As much as people rip on dlc, not everything is solved by including everything on disc. I really don't want to think about how bad LotSB would have been, had it been released as part of the main experience.
But there are many cases in gaming history where dlc might have been able to save a product. KotOR II was a great game, but it felt unfinished far more than ME2 ever did. I would have loved an Obsidian-released restoration project with their original vision, even with the fan release.

Really?
What's your point? Quite a few people believe Javik is one of the best parts of ME3.
