What i hate is the recent increase in PC games prices for games also coming out on so called next gen consoles.

Typical UK PC Games have been £29.99 rising to £34.99 in the last few years for top games on Digital download. But now a lot of PC games have shot up to £49.99 digital download, and all these games have one thing in common.....they are coming out on next gen consoles too.

Far Cry 4, Assassins Creed Unity, Witcher 3 (though it has discount if you own previous games), even DA Inquisition standard edition.

It really shows how greedy some publishers are.

Not all though, shockingly the New Call of Duty is just £39.99, and the new Football Manager is £34.99.

I call it the next gen tax :/

If those 49.99 games actually sell really well, you can bet that CoD and the rest of them will follow and increase their price.

I wouldn't be surprised if they then turned around and used that as an excuse to "even out the prices with North America" to start charging us more here instead of the standard $60.

I think as long as the masses keep eating whatever crap the industry feeds them, the industry will keep manufacturing crap. We must (as with any comsumer-based industry) demand more and refuse the status quo

@Rustiest: I think Omega is a much better example of poorly designed/executed DLC
