Well you know you're on the weird side of the internet when you see...
...
Well whatever the hell this is.
I read the title of this thread and the name Ed Gein springs to mind....now people really didn't take kindly to him making lampshades and such from human skin....or using bones to build pieces of furniture...but hey if telling yourself this is normal and acceptable behaviour...well ...yeah you have a problem
Hmm, the point of keeping body parts of strong animals is because they are impressive. Having a horn of a dragon is impressive. Having a horn from Qunari not so much.
But keeping the heads of the vanquished and their effects for display, no matter if they are enemies or former companions or whatever seems like a good idea.
Actually I'd like to see these terror tactics implemented in an open world game. For example a faction attacks, we kill them, hang their heads from the bridge. Next time the same faction attacks they will either be disheartened, be angrier and more aggressive or perhaps they won't attack at all. We will have to do our homework to learn what makes each faction tick, and having to scout the area near our strongholds to learn what factions control what territories and how likely it is they will attack us.
Same thing with companions. Someone fails to follow an order because he disagrees or something. Make an example out of him so the others will think twice before doing the same.
But well, I don't think we'll see something like that anytime soon.
I wouldn't care much if it existed just for roleplaying reasons but seems excessive. Extra work for something that doesn't have any gameplay impact. But whatever, if it is lore friendly and can be done I won't object to it. I just don't want to see features with potential wasted ^^
* reads thread title * Ah, probably about achievements or something.
* clicks on thread and sees... whatever this is *

That's what I thought it was about to when I came in this thread. Would be a totally different thread going on right now if it was just possible achievement talk ![]()
I dunno, having Leliana's head on my mantle could be amusing.
Yeah..... agreed, this is too much.
Also, just a note, everyone that used body parts on their castle walls got killed. Not like the nations will get sick of it and destroy the inquisition. They don't feel obligated to follow the inquisitor as it is proven allies can walk away from a very bad inquisitor.
I prefer not killing any companions or advisors, so don't have some people that can't think logically start complaining again.
It is a psychopath that puts heads on sticks, and it is those psychopaths that get ousted by their people. None that I know of survived long after installing heads. Not including the smell.
I thought it meant achievements at first is why I clicked on this thread....
I am genuinely surprised this thread still exists.
Genuinely surprised.
This goes too far, really. What is wrong with some people?
You need to relax a little. It's all in good fun.
Man.. If DA:I could be modded.. I bet people would make a mod to transform the Inquisition stronghold to look like Vlad the Impaler's castle.. With the throne in the middle of a fully mounted sea of spikes..

Well, if conjuring up mental images of putting Leliana's severed head on a spike or cutting out Cole's eyes to use as trophies on a shelf is your idea of fun...
go ahead, I guess.
I mean something like horns of Iron Bull, Bianka from Varrick, hat or eyes of Cole, Seekers amulets of Cassandra and Leliana, Cullen head..and others, what would indicate our ex companions and advisors
Wow, & i thought you wanting to sexually abuse certain companions using blood magic was creepy....
People are so quick to judge on these forums. Personally, I would be very fond of putting Leliana's head on a spike and mounting it on a vanity in one of the hallways of SkyHold. I mean, come on, who wouldn't want that?
Ew, no thanks.
... But if there is a game taking place during the Qunari invasion I'd love to make various pieces of furniture and decorations out of their horns.

Life's too short not to have a few eccentricities.

If you'd like to call all that stuff 'eccentricities'. I'm not sure I would. More like 'psychopathic desires'. Yeah, that fits.
every time when they loot someone who they kill before, especially bosses and any animals, dragons from who we have pelts and skin, bones
we have plenty of many trophies what are become our items and ingridients
usable items and ingredients are different from trophies. A trophy is a decoration, purely for visual purposes. Also taking a trophy from an animal or magical monster is different from cutting off someone's head and mounting on your wall. that is just sick.

Once again, you're taking things a bit too seriously in my opinion.

I'm taking things as I see them. And right now, I don't like the idea of even thinking about stuff like this. So yeah...
Why are we still talking about this!?!?!

But we get to kill Leliana. Why let such a pretty head go to waste?
If I put Leliana's head on my mantle, I expect her to still talk. ![]()

After reading some of these ideas, I really feel like this video describes how some people want to play. ![]()
Thinking about video game characters as real people with real feelings is in delusional disorder territory and consequently causes hysteria (mild or severe) when someone expresses a desire to kill/execute them.
