Yeah, but nobody understand's your burning hatred of The Last of Us. I agree that it probably shouldn't be number one though, not that I have any idea what I'd put at the top of the list either.

Yeah Top ___ Lists are silly most of the time. Though some I think some are better than others. But it's all opinion. And! IMO the fact Call of Juarez or TWD are on here makes this list lose all (if it had any(?)) credibility IMHO. And Last of Us #1? I thought it was good but..... Nowhere near number one, maybe not even top 40....... Oh well interesting list nonetheless I suppose.

So a bunch of very popular games and most of their sequels.

 

I watched a The Last of Us let's play and I honestly don't feel like I missed out on anything. It was practically a movie with sporadic stealth/combat thrown in. Pretty much got the gameplay experience of TLOU by playing Tomb Raider.

 

Also, Final Fantasy VIII and IX are on that list, but not VI or XII. I don't understand that at all.

Uh... there's something wrong with this list. StarCraft isn't #1. And where... where's Metroid Prime 2?

 

In all seriousness though, I enjoyed most of the titles on this list that I've played and heard positive things about the ones I haven't.

Glad to see Goldeneye 64 make it within the top 10. I think it's arguably the greatest first-person shooter of all time, even with all the advancements since then. The Last of Us as #1 though? I don't know....I mean on the one hand, I feel it was definitely one of PS3's best, but on the other, Uncharted 2 could easily be placed as in that position as well. It's just really difficult to place a #1 title when there's so many that deserve that place in history.

I enjoy lists like these, as there is almost always a title or two with which I'm unfamiliar, so it gives me something to research and could lead to a new game for me. On the down side though, I'm generally not interested in the majority of the titles they list, and I almost never agree on the placement of any of the titles I know (but that's probably to be expected).

This is not the worst list out there however. Between 1/3 and 1/2 of these games are good ones.

Where the hell is Dark Souls 2? It's more refined than Dark Souls 1. I can give credit to this list for putting Tetris.

I know this list is just an opinion, but....just...wow. Sure these are all good games. But last of us number 1? Ever? Hehehe no.

I don't see why The Last of Us should be number one either. But in all honesty, I don't know what game could be number one anyway.

 

I get that GoldenEye is on there, I mean it was a dayum good N64 game. But I don't understand why Perfect Dark isn't on the list. To me, it was a better GoldenEye. Way ahead of it's time, the story was actually pretty compelling, the weapons were so unique that all had alternate fire, and that soundtrack tbh. 

And why Conker's Bad Fur Day isn't on the list is just beyond me, don't think I really need to explain why.

What about Turok 2: The Seeds of Evil? Like was it too hard for the people who made this list or something?

Call me old school for loving the N64, but it is by far the best console ever, hands down. Unless you're a graphic elitist ofc. Which I don't see why a game having great graphics determines whether it's good or not anyway.

 

And unless my eyes are deceiving me, why isn't Fallout New Vegas on this list? Yet Fallout 3 is listed? wtf.

 

I do however love that there is a nice gathering of Zelda games on there. I'm a sucker for those.

Also nice to see Age of Empires II as well.

And you'd think Skyrim would be a bit high up on that list given how fcukin massive the fan base is. But at least they knew to put Morrowind before Oblivion.
