That pack that costs around 9k and guarantees you a character is completely useless to me now. I spent points on it and got nothing out of it 3 times in a row. Anyone got any tips?

I suggest you watch these videos:
The best way is to buy Reserve Packs (only if you maxed out silver character cards). You unlock characters by chance anyway. If, say, you get some Asari Justicar 5 times in a row, it means you have yet to unlock color schemes. When you unlock all color schemes, you won't get this character anymore. So, if you have yet to unlock color schemes for 20 characters, chance that you'll unlock new characters is not that great. It's RNG.
P.S. never spend points. Not worth it. Only credits. Play Gold or Silver if you lack experience.

Its pretty much a lottery. The only real advice i can offer is to keep throwing credits at those reserve packs and pray you get what you want

I've played 200 hours and I don't have all the rare characters unlocked, including the freaking vanilla Asari Adept. Just keep playing and buying Spectre packs and up. Nothing will help you but time.

Spectre pack is a waste of credits. Any 99000 crate will be cheaper in a long run than amount of spectre packs bought to unlock everything.

True, but at the lower cost SPs are better able to keep you stocked in level III equipment while still increasing your rares. That's why I like to mix them in with the 99k packs.

Sorry for the late reply. It's been like 5 months and I haven't gotten him yet. Yea, I think I've rinsed out the Spectre Packs because I get garbage from them. Preium Spectre Packs seem to be doing alright at the moment. The Reserves Pack is completely useless now lol

If u want a character or weapon badly; delete all dlcs except the one which includes the item u want. every time u draw from a pack will only get u vanilla stuff and the chosen dlc content.
