I find the choice to go with tarot cards to represent the party pretty interesting so I've taken it upon myself to speculate who the remaining party members are going to be:

Vivienne: High Priestess

Commonly this card is associated with the card reader or the querant, because it is also focused on 'secrets' it also interpreted when a secret is kept or revealed, when you are holding on to the truth or revealing it, the card associated with mystery, when powerful feminine influences and support currently in force for the querant. It can also represent the perfect woman in a man's life, and to a woman it can represent being independently solo perhaps without a man.

So far all we know about Vivienne is that:
a) She has her own agenda
b ) Her blurb: "For those that value survival, sentimentality is not an option."

This could not be more Vivienne if you ask me. :L

Dorian: Emperor
The Emperor symbolizes the desire to rule over one's surroundings, and its appearance in a reading often suggests that the subject needs to accept that some things may not be controllable, and others may not benefit from being controlled.

Dorians hopeless seeming goal of redeeming Tevinter.

Yeah this one doesn't hold up as well as Viviennes. :L

Iron Bull: Hierophant/Pope
The Hierophant is the card representing organized religion — any organized religion. Its positive and negative aspects are those associated with that religion. “Hierophant” literally means “the one who teaches the holy things”The card also represents individuation or the point where a child starts to understand the boundaries between Self and Other, family and the community. This is the point where the individual starts constructing his or her own identity, consciously, unconsciously, or as shaped by exterior forces.

Would be referring to Iron Bull and his role as part of the Ben-Hassrath. Could also foreshadow a decision to question his religion.

Additionally, I don't know where Persona got the inspiration to make Hierophant characters be people who make it hard to let go of their past, but if it rings true then it fits Iron Bull like a glove.

Those seem pretty fitting to me, especially Viv and Bull's. I've always been mildly interested in Tarot, but I've only ever gotten readings for myself, never studied up much on the cards individually so I might try to do that before the game comes out to see if I can make any connections as well ~

I love tarot, so this is a pretty interesting topic.

I'm adding my thoughts with some thoughts by people on tumblr that did a cool breakdown:

Dorian- Temperance

Spoiler

"Temperance indicates that you are learning to bring about balance, patience and moderation in your life. The card reflects that you have a clear, long-term vision of what you want to achieve. Temperance can also reflect a period of self-evaluation in order to re-examine your life priorities. "

---

Sera- the Star

Spoiler

"The meaning of the Star Tarot card suggests that you have endured life’s challenges and have been through a difficult time but you are now open to healing and transformation. Your ability to let go of damaging memories has been strengthened by contact with your true self through these difficult times. The Star Tarot card also indicates a generous spirit. You want to give or share your wealth with others to help transform their own lives. You have an open heart and you now want to give back the blessings you have already received so that others may benefit."

---

I think Vivienne could be the High Priestess, I could also see her as the Chariot card:

Spoiler

"The Chariot represents conquest, victory and overcoming opposition through your confidence and control. On its most basic level, it's about getting what you want. It implies war, a struggle, and an eventual, hard-won victory over enemies, obstacles, nature, the uncertainties inside you. The Chariot is a card of contradictions. It's about sidewise battles, yet also about full-speed ahead. It's about the hard exterior and the soft interior, the light and dark, the water and the shore, moon and sun. It is the Sphinx, which is also often a symbol of Cancer, the lion and the man united, a mystery." A mystery sounds a lot like Viv, since she has a secret agenda.

--
I can see Iron Bull being the Heirophant.
--
I think Cassandra is Death, her card and the death card look very similar and she's from Nevarra, a country that has a lot of interesting ideas concerning dead people:

Spoiler

Death: "Death is symbolic of the ending of a major phase or aspect of your life that may bring about the beginning of something far more valuable and important. Similarly, it indicates a time of significant transformation, change and transition. The card contains elements of a sudden and unexpected change. Death is an indication that you need to learn to let go of unhealthy attachments in your life to pave the way to a fuller, more fulfilled life of deeper meaning and significance."

I guess the Inquisitor is going to be the Fool (if the Inquisitor is going to have an own card, of course).

Interpretation via wikipedia

In many esoteric systems of interpretation, the Fool is usually interpreted as the protagonist of a story, and the Major Arcana is the path the Fool takes through the great mysteries of life and the main human archetypes. This path is known traditionally in Tarot as the Fool's Journey, and is frequently used to introduce the meaning of Major Arcana cards to beginners.

@Tevinter Rose: That was really great, thanks for sharing that. I was trying to find some connection to The Star (it's my favorite card) and I like how you connected it to Sera. I think it's really fitting.

@Chernaya I think The Star actually does sound a lot like Leliana, at least how we knew her in previous games. Or could it be Josephine? Those card meaning are so elusive :)

No problem   ^_^ .

Yeah the Star card suits Sera's personality really well.

It's my favorite card too, it comes up in a lot of my readings. I'm still trying to figure out more connections with the other companions.
