I'm actually really surprised at all the nominations for Hawke.

The moment the dragon and The Inquisitor are joined in blue light.  I got goosebumps and my eyes began to run over.

 

I'm so excited for this game every time I watch the trailers I get closer to the edge of crying.

I'm actually really surprised at all the nominations for Hawke. 

Me too I cant relate to the excitement at all for some reason. I mean, its a good addition... but not to this degree imo.
Personally I detach myself from my previous characters. People seem to want to be the warden, Hawke and the Inquisitor. I dont consider the warden or Hawke my characters anymore at all. It seems like the roleplaying version of multiple personality disorder or something. But meh... people are different I guess so I wont judge. My best guess is that the emotional investment in the characters are too heavy to give up on and thus people are having problems breaking that bond, I really dont know.
