Hello!
I am trying to romance Fenris and I realize I made the mistake of sleeping with Isabela after doing the same with Fenris. I told Isabela afterword that it was just a one-time thing, but she and Fenris now both wear the red armband. I'm currently doing Fenris's "Alone" quest, and I know there should be a flirt option to say something like "you have me" when he says he has no one, but the option doesn't come up. I'm trying to fix this via console command but it isn't working. I tried clearing Isabela's romance flag, resetting Fenris's then setting to "intimate" or "active", as well as trying several other combinations of of clearing/setting flags and nothing has worked. Am I doing something wrong?
Oh, and if it helps, Fenris is the one who came to Hawke's room after her mother was killed.
Any help would be appreciated!

Fenris has a very buggy romance, unfortunately. If you sleep with anyone else but him at ANY time (even if you say it was a one time thing), you will not be able to complete his romance. Fenris is very into monogamy and years of annoying, painful celibacy.

I admit, I have never used the console commands for this, so I am no help regarding that. However, what I do know, may still apply to some measure (though it isn't great news).

Out of all the LI's that you can flirt or romance in one run through, Isabela is by far the most problematic when trying to finish out the game with a Fenris romance. I believe some consider it a "bug", though I am not entirely sure that is accurate (though it might very well be), but the general "rule" - so to speak - is don't romance anyone after Fenris' Bitter Pill quest, and don't romance Isabela at all (either before OR after).

It's possible that there is some little unknown plot flag that gets "tripped" with Isabela, that interferes with Fenris' romance. What that might be....*shrug*.

Funny enough though, you may still get the line from Varric at the end, about Fenris staying with Hawke (even if you don't get the make up scene after Alone, or the kiss scene during the Last Stand).

(BTW, you can have a romance with Merril and/or Anders before starting a romance with Fenris, but it must be before you start anything with Fenris, and you need to clearly end it immediately following the love scene with either of those two characters. This has been done before, and there are people that have made instructions on how to do this successfully. However, Isabela still remains a problem - even if I have read of people supposedly doing it successfully.)

I did read on the wiki that you can technically complete the Fenris romance even if Isabela was romanced, if you talk to him at the end and select the romance options, but I haven't gotten there yet and don't know if they'll even be available.  It pretty much defeats the purpose of a romance if you only get the end scene and not all those in between.

I really appreciate the responses; hopefully someone who knows the console better than I will have some additional input. :3
