Will it be possible to always play the game with isometric view/tactical cam, i mean also when exploring? If yes, will the player be allowed to move in a formation he/she chooses? I’m thinking of something like this: I stop the action, choose a party member then double-click somewhere on the screen where I want him/her to be positioned and confirm e.g. with a double-click, then proceed to do the same for the other party members and save the ‘formation’.

Yes to the first one, don't know about the second but I want it too.

I like playing in third-person, but I would LOVE the option to change formation without switching which character I am directly controlling.

Having a rogue at the front of the formation to detect traps as quickly as possible would be MUCH appreciated.

I would also love to see some formations available, especially if they don't require that the Inquisitor be at the front.

thanks for the info. I have to admit i'm surprised it's possible to explore in isometric/tactical view, i thought it's just for combat. I guess we'll get mounts for each party member then so we can move at the same pace? Perhaps even a my little pony for Varrick ;)

No, the companions disappear when fhe Iquisitor saddles up.
