Bioware, are you even saving any surprises for the release?

Or are you going to give them all away in pre-release marketing/trailers?

Lets see, we already know:

- How the game begins with an explosion at the meeting between the mages/templars.

- We know that the PC is the lone survivor who came from the fade with unique powers.

- We know that these powers have been given to him by the Maker

- We know about the mysterious person known as the Elder One (as well as his appearance) who is after the PC.

- We know that Hawke will be making an cameo.

- We know about Morrigan becoming a Dragon and possibly being an ally, as well as a possible fight between her and Flemeth.

- We know that whomever you take with you in the Redcliffe castle fight can die, as seen with Sera in the E3 video.

- We have possibly seen Andraste which reveals that she will be making an appearance at some point.

At this pace, Bioware would have given away most of the big reveals/surprises well before November 18th and we STILL have the possible PAX Prime trailer as well as the final launch trailer which I assume would be filled with a bunch of juicy spoilers.

I understand that Bioware wants to show off how cool this game is but geez, do they have a limit?

I am so glad that I did not watch this Gamescom trailer/gameplay because from what I hear, it is spoilers galore. While I might know the details of the trailer, it is best that I not view it. Same thing with any other screenshot/video released about this game.

But yeah, what else is there to be surprised about?

MESSAGE POPULAIRE !

Yes, we are saving surprises for launch.

Seen from one angle, it appears to be a duck. Viewed in its proper context and orientation, it is in fact a rabbit...

I'd tell you, but then they wouldn't be surprised anymore.

Some of the stuff you stated to "know" is actually incorrect.  But I won't ruin the surprise ;)

The game is big.  If you're already on the road to buy it, you could do like I do and media blackout yourself.  I don't follow Pillars of Eternity closely anymore, because I want it all to be fresh for me.

So...you know some elements of the story, have taken a number of fan assumptions as straight-up truth, and that's the same as having played through the entire game already? All that's left is to tell you how it ends?

Gosh.

I posted about the nature of spoilers recently. It's really up to you to govern yourself regarding them... but, even so, if you really think you already know all there is to know, we're not about to prove otherwise. You go on thinking that, if you like. :)

Mr. Gaider, you took the words right out of my mouth.

It was either that or this:
