Or are you going to give them all away in pre-release marketing/trailers?

Lets see, we already know:

- How the game begins with an explosion at the meeting between the mages/templars.

- We know that the PC is the lone survivor who came from the fade with unique powers.

- We know that these powers have been given to him by the Maker

- We know about the mysterious person known as the Elder One (as well as his appearance) who is after the PC.

- We know that Hawke will be making an cameo.

- We know about Morrigan becoming a Dragon and possibly being an ally, as well as a possible fight between her and Flemeth.

- We know that whomever you take with you in the Redcliffe castle fight can die, as seen with Sera in the E3 video.

- We have possibly seen Andraste which reveals that she will be making an appearance at some point.

At this pace, Bioware would have given away most of the big reveals/surprises well before November 18th and we STILL have the possible PAX Prime trailer as well as the final launch trailer which I assume would be filled with a bunch of juicy spoilers.

I understand that Bioware wants to show off how cool this game is but geez, do they have a limit?

I am so glad that I did not watch this Gamescom trailer/gameplay because from what I hear, it is spoilers galore. While I might know the details of the trailer, it is best that I not view it. Same thing with any other screenshot/video released about this game.

But yeah, what else is there to be surprised about?

weren't these just fan speculation, not actually confirmed?

All of the bolded is speculation. The devs has explicitly stated that the trailers are misleading, and that a lot of the speculation made by the fandom is outright wrong.

Everything that we don't yet know?  I mean, how can we know what we don't yet know, ya know? Bioware knows.

Everything Bioware has shown regarding Inquisition or most of it has been out of context.

We don't know how any of this will actually be at launch with the full completed product in our disc trays or on our HDDs.

Its nothing to be worried about. Besides, if people are truly feeling spoiled, they can always go information-dark until launch day.

We don't know how the inquisitor got their powers. It's all guessing and assuming.

We don't know the appearance of the elder one. He talks throughout the whole trailer as we see numerous enemies. We never physically see him talk.

We don't know about Morrigan being a dragon (how did you even????). We only saw her shapeshift back from a bird.

People have speculated that companions can die, it is not confirmed.

All your points are assumptions and guesses. I really don't see how you claim bioware has released too much when we really can't answer any questions that come up with certainty. All we know is that there is a big bad, that the inquisitor SOMEHOW physically left the fade with powers, and that they form the inquisition. That's it.

Not yet, but they aren't far from it. The only thing left that is un spoiled is the ending, which will probably be teased in the launch trailer like Mass Effect 3 and Mass Effect 2 where the majority of the footage came from the suicide mission.

We don't know who the Elder One is.

We have absolutely zero evidence of who the glowy figure is, much less that it is actually Andraste.

We have zero evidence that the Maker is giving anyone anything. A demon or spirit or Flemeth or random event could be responsible for the Inquisitors powers.

We have never seen Morrigan become a dragon, and only have circumstancial evidence that she will be able to shift into a dragon.

We don't know that Sera dies in Redcliffe, she could just be incapacitated for all we know.

You are making a ton of assumptions and calling them facts.

Not all of those are big surprises imo, but either way, even if we know someone is in the game, we don't really know why they're there. To me that's much more relevant info and I'm sure we won't find out about that till we play the game, so eh, no issues here.

That being said, if anyone wants to avoid spoilers like the plague, they should just avoid all the marketing and not come to the forums.

Wow, we don't even know half of those things.  Unless some big reveal happened in the last 24 hours I don't know about....

Point by point:

1. Yep, give you that one

2. Ditto

3. Wait whaaat?  Where are you getting this from?  As far as I know, your powers are still a mystery (though some people THINK they're from the Maker, both in and out of game).

4. Sure, the game has a big bad, but that's not a MASSIVE revelation.

5. Yup.

6. ....I'm not even sure where you're getting this stuff from.  We have NO evidence that Morrigan will become a Dragon, or that Flemeth is involved in any way OR that they fight each other.

7. Yeah, but that seems like more a gameplay feature - also, it's simply assumed that Sera was dead, we don't know for sure.

8. Note possibly here - so speculation is a big reveal?

You're making some pretty big assumptions here. Sera does not die, I think one of the devs said she was just having a bad day -- she is knocked out.

We don't know the Maker gave us the powers at all. I've seen speculation that the glowy figure is Andraste, Falon'Din, the Divine or a spirit of Hope.

Most of what we've seen is from the start of the game. It could be argued we saw more for DA2... I mean we knew Hawke had to fight a qunari and would become champion because of it pretty much.

But of course the closer to release we get the more we'll learn. It's up to us to decide how much of that we watch or read about -- I can't resist watching a new trailer, for example.

I'm quite certain there is much we still don't know and I cannot wait to play the game and meet all of the characters properly.

-How do you know that these powers have been given to him by the Maker?

-We don't know if the Dragon we see in the trailer is the Elder One. He might be a Shapeshifter just like Flemeth,or else I doubt they'd have kept his identity so secret until now.

-We don't know if Morrigan will become a Dragon. Also,we have heard almost nothing about Flemeth.

-Redcliffe castle was just a scenario. Some people won't even get that location as the hideout for the Venatori. Also, nothing is sure about Sera being dead. A lot of people think she's just unconscious.

-Why Andraste of all things? The first thing I thought when I saw that figure was thisObject-Elven_Statue.jpg

OP is confusing fan speculation with official information from Bioware

and you know you don't need to be on these forums anymore or watch trailers if you want

to be completely surprised its your choice

But sticking around and then blaming Bioware for marketing their game so that people are interested

is just not very smart

But yeah, what else is there to be surprised about?

Your facts are all muddled.

i. We don't know who or what causes the explosion at the peace conference.

ii. We don't know how the PC survived the explosion or why he/she, of all people, has special powers.

iii. It has never been confirmed that the Inquisitor's powers are confered on him or her by the Maker.

iv. We know about the existence of the Elder One, but not who or what he/she is, or the antagonist's agenda.

v. We don't know if Hawke will be making a cameo. For all we know, her/his appearance in the trailer was just Varric spinning a tale a la DA II.

vi. It has never been confirmed that Morrigan becomes a dragon. The only time when she was shown shape shifting was in the Enemies of Thedas trailer, where she is a raven.

vii. We don't know if Sera and the others actually die at Redcliffe, or if they are just incapacitated and you have to come back and rescue them. All you see is her being thrown to the ground, and Leliana being shot in the shoulder with an arrow.

viii. It has not been confirmed that the glowing npc in the Enemy of Thedas trailer is Andraste. You are conjecturing.

The Gamescom trailer was not "spoilers galore." Context, context, context. As David Gaider has said before, we lack context and have no idea where, when, and under what circumstances the events depicted in trailers are unfolding.

Any more facts that you would like me to set straight for you?
