I think there will be multiple endings.
I think there will be multiple endings.
- Very good ending: Everyone you care about lives. Inquisitor, party members, ambassadors and important NPC's. Best possible outcomes for all choices. [Only the most strategically adept players can obtain this ending].
- Good ending: Most people live. Some of your choices had undesirable outcomes. [Only incredibly skilled players can obtain this ending or better].
- Okay ending: You still win, but some of the choices had dire consequences, and most of the characters you care about are dead. [Only very skilled players will get this ending or better]
- Bad ending: You win, but the consequences of your actions are so dire that Thedas is ruined. Don't worry, there is still hope to rebuild Thedas. [Very challenging to obtain.]
- Very bad ending: The Inquisition lost and fade daemons have won. However there is still hope. [Challenging to obtain]
- Worst possible ending: The fade daemons have exterminated 100% of the dwarves, elves, humans and qunari. All hope is lost. [Very easy to obtain. Most gamers will get this ending first time and assume that it is the only possible ending].
I could see something like that, but given previous history of Bioware games I'd expect the level of challenge to be reversed.
Yeah, they did say something about the bad endings being more of a "game over" sort of thing.I could see something like that, but given previous history of Bioware games I'd expect the level of challenge to be reversed.
