Denver beats San Diego 35-21. The Chargers had a lot of plays that led to negative yardage.

The Broncos are getting scary good... Wish they were scheduled to play Dallas.
But will they crash at the end again ? Or can they keep on playing at a high level ? It`s a long season .

Hell, we went toe-to-toe with Denver last season with that atrocity of a defense. Improved defensive play and DeMarco Murray running like freight train? I think we'd take them in any setting.

They could meet in the Superbowl. I'm a Dallas fan so I would cheer for them. But my team is Carolina and rather see them in the Superbowl

5:30am Alaska time.
I'm curious if there's anyone on this forum who will actually be attending this game. It would interesting to hear about it. I'll be watching the Seahawks and Panthers, the Cardinals and Eagles, and maybe the Packers and Saints on 10/26. So much to choose from on Sunday, I'll just catch highlights of some the games. If I feel like I've missed something special, I can dig up the recordings.

At halftime, Atlanta leads Detroit 21-0. Detroit is having all kinds of problems moving the ball while Atlanta is doing eveything right on both sides of the ball

Detroit beats Atlanta 22-21 with a last second FG. Atlanata beat themselves by having a penatly that stopped the clock and a dropped pass to give Detroit the time needed to go down the field to win the game.

Arizona Cardinals beat Philadelphia Eagles, 24 to 20
The final score doesn't even begin to describe how close this game was most of the way. Philadelphia came very close to scoring during the last few seconds of the 4th quarter. Most of the folks watching in the pub feel this may be the best game played yet this week.
Pittsburgh Steelers beat Indianapolis Colts, 51 to 34
This sounds like an upset. I didn't see this game. How did it look? I thought the Colts wouldn't have a problem.
Cleveland Browns beat Oakland Raiders, 23 to 13
Nobody should be as sorry as the Raiders.
The Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints are in their 1st quarter: Packers 10 to Saints 7

NO ( yes I didn`t pick the Packers
)
How did you know? Packers are now 16 and Saints are 37. What an upset. A little over 9 minutes left to the 4th quarter. Doesn't look good for the packers.

Dunno what to say. Just a poor loss today. I knew facing the Saints in their home would be tough, but I thought this team was starting to play like the sum of its parts and could replicate what they did at Chicago as a blueprint to beating another dangerous offense. Damn shame we could not keep the momentum on our side.

My cockiness level hit maximum capacity after the Seahawks game.
Give me a break, man. Dallas has either been the essence of mediocrity or downright pathetic (except for 2007 and this year) for the last 15 years. My formative years as a Dallas Cowboys fan were spent watching teams coached by Dave Campo and QBs like Clint Stoerner, Chad Hutchinson and Drew Henson. I didn't hop on the bandwagon in the early 1990s. I wasn't even two-years-old when Dallas won their first Super Bowl since the 1970s.
Dallas is kicking ass this year. I think I'm entitled to a little confidence in my team and happiness about it after being subjected to some of the seasons and performances I've seen.

I'm surprised there are still Raider's fans left.
Take that people I don't like who like the Raiders! ![]()

If a person's "team" is doing well the the person will be happy/cocky, but if the "team" is doing poorly then they will be sad/withdrawn. It's an interesting look at the psychology of a sports fan, and really my only interest in sports (minus baseball).
The only fandom where this doesn't seem true (at least with football) is with the Raider's, and I will never understand why.

I was just joking around with Nihlus, if he wants to ride the roller coaster that's his choice. For me though I like to take a realistic approach to things. And I'm sure Raider fans have been programmed to believe the NFL will try to stick it to them at any opportunity especially if they are good.

I don't intend to pursue this topic any further, but how is feeling that Dallas could "take them (Denver) in any setting" unrealistic? As I said, we're a much better team that we were last season and we almost beat them then. They have improved as well, but not enough for me to believe they're some kind unstoppable juggernaut that simply can't be beaten, which is what you seem to be intimating.
