Yeah I saw and heard about that. I would guess, and its only a guess, he wil be out for the rest of the season. Derek Anderson, his replacement, will do well. He led Carolina to their first win when Newton didn't start the first game.
Super Bowl 2015 who will win? Who do you want to win?

This just happened today, I'm so sorry. He's got two fractured transverse process, similar to Tony Romo's 10/27 injury. And with only three games left to the season...

Unfortunately, it also illustrates that automobiles can still be far more dangerous than playing football.
Granted the concussions are still a major (un-dealt with issue), but automobiles are still deadly.
Unless of course we add in unlicensed firearms in nightclubs...I hear that can be quite embarrassing... ![]()

Had a rough last week, going 11-5.
[Thurs]
Cardinals over Rams: this is a tough one, but I'll go with Bruce Arians' impeccable coaching.
[Sun]
Atlanta over Pittsburgh: again, I am now just going with the opposite of what I expect from PIT... it worked last week.
Redskins over Giants: Frankie Muniz is all grown up!
Patriots over Dolphins: would pick the 'fins were the game not in Foxboro.
KC over Oakland: upset won't happen again, not in their house.
Indy over Houston: need a QB of at least equal caliber to best Luck and the Colts, IMO.
Ravens over Jaguars: rookie QB vs. Ravens D, that won't be pretty.
Green Bay over Buffalo: Bills' D will be a tough test but Orton is the worst QB we've faced in some time.
Panthers over Bucs: Derek Anderson is good enough to start for a few, and Tampa Bay is not exactly a tough test anyway.
Bengals over Browns: I expect JFF to look like a rookie, and this game is just too important for Cincy.
Lions over Vikings: this D gave Bridgewater some trouble last time and I expect this game will be no different.
Seattle over SanFran: Kaep is garbage.
Cowboys over Philly: home team that does not play too well at home against away team that is undefeated away. Hmm...
[Mon]
New Orleans over Chi-town: Da Bears were playing poorly to begin with, and now lose B-Marsh. Saints bounce back.

9-4 last week; not bad considering that I totally neglected the Denver/Buffalo game, which should have been a gimme.
St Louis over Arizona: The Rams have been frisky, especially against divisional rivals.
Pittsburgh over Atlanta: Not much confidence in this pick; as we've seen, the Steelers can lose to anybody. I'm just going with the superior QB/Coach combo.
Green Bay over Buffalo: Don't think Kyle Orton will exploit the Green Bay D the way the Falcons did. The Buffalo defense is very good, but I don't think Rodgers will need a heroic performance to win this game.
Cincy over Cleveland: Not sure what Cleveland has with Manziel, but the Browns can't exploit Cincinatti's biggest weakness, which is their run defense. On the other hand, the Browns' defense is second in DVOA, so this game should be low-scoring and close.
Indianapolis over Houston: Even though Indy looked vulnerable last week, they're still the dominant team in this division until proven otherwise.
KC over Oakland: If there's ever a time for Alex Smith to have a big game, it's against this Oakland pass defense.
New England over Miami: I have a strong suspicion that Philbin will be done after this season.
NYG over Washington: Neither of these teams are good, but what tips the balance for me is my lack of belief in Colt McCoy.
Carolina over Tampa Bay: Life is good for Derek Anderson; every time he has to start, he's facing the Bucs.
Baltimore over Jacksonville: Should be a no-brainer.
NYJ over Tennessee: The only thing I know is that this game will be absolutely unwatchable.
Denver over San Diego: The offensive line of San Diego is what will prevent them from going where they want to go this season.
Detroit over Minnesota: Even though this is exactly the type of game the Lions would have lost in the past few years, I'm trusting the Lions defense here.
Seattle over SF: Two franchises going in opposite directions right now.
Dallas over Philly: Dallas is undefeated on the road, and has had extra time to prepare for this game.
New Orleans over Chicago: Like before, I'm going with the best QB-coach combination (usually a good way to break a deadlock when you're making picks).
Sucks to hear about Cam's injury; I've always had a soft spot for the guy, especially since he kinda took a beating in public during the draft process (with one scout going so far as to accuse Cam of having a "fake smile"). So it's always nice to see him do well; here's hoping he gets back in the saddle sooner rather than later.
On a lighter note, I thought I'd throw in Andre Fluellen's Hadouken sack dance.

Arizona Cardinals beat St. Louis Rams, 12 to 6 The biggest question of the Cardinals most immediate concern is, have they gone through yet ANOTHER quarterback?
http://www.nfl.com/n...ee-against-rams
You just can't go through quarterbacks like Kleenex and remain on top. So for now, they maintain their superior record and wait to see how serious Drew Stanton's injury is...
http://www.nfl.com/n...nto-best-record
And, who is Ryan Lindley?
http://www.nfl.com/p...2532894/profile
And Logan Thomas?
http://www.nfl.com/p...2532894/profile
Congratulations, to the whole team and coach Bruce Arians for a good game, well played in spite of everything.
More on Cam Newton, speaking for the first time since his accident, "I'm on somebody's fantasy team, and I think it's the Man upstairs."
http://www.nfl.com/n...er-car-accident
Also creating a lot of speculation, Johnny Manziel's start this coming Sunday as quarterback for the Cleveland Browns.
http://www.nfl.com/n...-peek-at-future
Talk about being under pressure, we all know how the "Johnny Football" hype could turn nasty if this young rookie doesn't do something amazing this weekend. The press is doing him no favors.
Good night, all. ![]()

Well the Bills defence is pretty good and they showed that today. The Packers offence left some plays out there and probably should have won the game but teh Bills defence still played very well. I just hope Bulaga is all right, I've been enjoying an injury free Packers season for a change.

That's not really fair, though. Manziel's team mates have only spoken well of him, saying he has a mature attitude, no arrogance. The hype is the press's fault, so save your scorn for them.i hope Manziel fails hard, i dont know why but i really hate that guy....

Looks like Dallas has locked up that game (not a big fan of theirs, really). 13-2 so far on my picks; even so, I have to admit to losing a fair amount of enthusiasm for the NFL this season. Just haven't had the time this fall to pay anywhere near as much attention to the games; plus, the NFL as a brand has had a very rough time of it, to say the least. We'll see what happens as the season progresses, I suppose.
