First to comment on New England's win. 

 

They won because their defense were able to adjust in the second half and stopped or at least slowed the running game of the Ravens. Baltimore did not adjust in the second half since they still had trouble tackling that led to New England able to continue their drives.

 

Ok. Now for my Panthers.

 

Cam Newton is playing like he just got out of high school.  He seems to be unsure of what to do in the back field. The running looks ok. Hopefully that will continue for the 2nd half. The other thing is Panthers punt returner. I call him the blonde bomber. He scares me. I have a feeling that if the game stays close towards the end, he may fumble or not catch the ball cleanly leading to Seattle recovering the ball. I would put someone in his place.

 

Fortunately Carolina is only down by 4 points. The secondary needs to step it up more and I would blitz Wilson more.

 

The only thing I say about Seattle is they need to slow the Panthers running game forcing Cam Newton to win the game with his passing.

I will talk to Jerry Richardson, Panthers owner, about buying the team from him and the first move I will do is look for a new quarterback for next season. Newton does fine when the pass protection is there, but when its not, he makes bad decisions. I would also rebuild the secondary.

No. They would change the color of the uniform to red, green and blue. I wouldn't want that to happen. I like the color the uniform has now.

That's very kind of you to say. But Green Bay could beat us, the way they are playing now. They've really gotten STRONG. Like I said, I'm not assuming anything anymore. But I'll still pick Seattle no matter what.

According to the pre-game show, its 22 degrees in Green Bay, not like the Ice Bowl in 1967 with the temperatrure being -15 degrees and a wind chill of nearly -45 degrees. So the temperature won't be a factor in the game. 

 

The one concern, at least for Green Bay, is Aaron Rogers calf. Time will tell how well he's able to move around in the pocket and running outside of it to avoid the pressure.
