I keep running into these guys and they talk as if they know me. Who are they? I don't remember any running into any quests or anything about them...

As Stanley suggested, the Blackstone Irregular's might have something to 'pique' your interest if you check their quest-hub within the Gnarled Root Tavern in Denerim.

It's not the blackstone irregulars. it's some shady bussiness of the barkeeper in the gnawed noble tavern.

I have recieved all the quests from them and from the barkeep in Denerim. There are others but not that one

It's part of a chain. It's one of the last in either the BI or Barkeep questlines.

No it's a Blackstone Irregular's quest. Maybe it's in Redcliffe after the zombie attack that you acquire it? I could be remembering it wrong haven't really helped the Redclfife castle this play through. Try looking in the Blackstone Irregular's within Redcliffe.

And it isn't part of the 'Favor's For Certain Parties Quests' because those quests having nothing to do with sealing something with someone. <.<

It's for Blackstone. You'll find out why if you do all the quests for them.

I am guessing I cannot get it yet untill I complete the others quests. which I have not done, yes?

I don't believe the quest within itself is impossible to get before doing the other quests because Scraping the Barrel and that quest within itself can't be completed (Which I think is retarded mind you) until you are done gathering allies and into the Landsmeet questline.



But again, you should be able to get it if you have access to the Blackstone Irregular's in Redcliffe if not then Im completely at a loss. The Quest itself is named 'Notices of Appreciation' I think? Maybe it's something else...

It's called "Greasing the Wheels", and you can pick it up in Redcliffe IIRC.

Hmm, I'm playing through again and let Redcliffe be destroyed by undead. Now, when I return to Redcliffe, the Blackstone Irregulars are not to be found anywhere. I've searched about the village and castle. Does anyone know if and where the BIs are supposed to be to get this quest?

I think they're supposed to be outside of the Chantry. Good luck with that if everyone's dead, though.
