What don't you like about the witcher, what did that game do to offend you? Were they cruel to animals, did they say the F word, did they not let you fall in love with the character you wanted to be with.

The dwarves aren't supposed to be the same rehashed overuse cliche in Dragon Age, they have real actual true depth.

DA's dwarves are still short, bearded, and live underground. Changing their politics and personalities does not make them more original.

The gave them actual politics and personality.  Dwarves barely had anything and only existed as bearded short men with an axe and a penchant for drinking.  In Dragon Age they're actually people with a truly defined culture, and a real variation in personality.  It doesn't make them original, it makes them better.

 

I never really cared for dwarves before, now I love them, even the aspects of their culture I as a person find repugnant, because now there's more to them, and there are girl dwarves and they don't exist only to provide fuel for some random bearded women jokes.

“Better" is a matter of opinion. I forgot the name of their little group, the dwarves that wore legion armor in DAO. They were pretty badass, what would be wrong with seeing those dwarf type characters return.

The only Legion of the Dead character we've gotten to know is Sigrun and she's funny, bubbly, and likes snow globes but I agree, more of that!

Are you suggesting they must have 4 eyes instead of two and spines instead of hair? don't make me laugh, this would be as original as if Lufia hobbits instead of being an aggressive race like the nords of skyrim were just females with one elder male and layed eggs instead of having normal pregnancy.
