I was of the opinion that Cauthrien had feelings for Loghain, actually, not Anora. The way she speaks of him....

 

Anyway, I usually start off the fight with 2 Holy Smites and a Mana Clash. The smites/clash kill the mages and knock everyone down, giving my group time to work the battle in my favor. I just draw them back into the hallway behind me, and wreck em.

I just immediately retreat into Anora's "guest" room. Cauthrien and two others tend to be the only ones who follow me. That's still painful, but it's workable. (Though the first time the fight finished with me down most of my strongest poultices, and Sten being the last one standing. I found that rather appropriate of course given the plans I'd made regarding her sword.)

Don't know if this was answered but yes you have the option to kill Armass for working with Darkspawn hen you meet him.

That's not really an obstacle as far as kmeme goes, as far as I'm aware.

The plausibility of a pairing has never been a hindrance to the flights of fancy of the k.meme.

Gotta hand it to Cauthrien, she and her guards gave me a harder fight than Flemeth and the Archdemon combined.

Er, how and why? If you have Storm of the Century and Mana Clash, you can obliterate the entire room of guards with four spells and then it's just a long tank and spank fight against Cauthrien herself.
