I've been really taken by surprise by this title. No Man's Sky is the game, that Mass Effect was from the beginning, at least just a little bit. This romantisism, this hunger for the unknown, those emotions of constantly pushing boundries...

So, ME team brought back Mako for the next game and I wonder... would they go even further with that? Hard sci-fi book and movies, all from... say 30's to even early 90's, were all about science and discovery. Sure, we will get some space soap opera in future ME games, but I would wanna see some spirit of this golden era of sci-fi reflected. Self aware organisms like in Solaris by polish author Lem. Some odd looking creatures like from first ME game. Not every race have to hold a gun to be reflected in multiplayer mode!

Please, just give respect to the amazing franchise and bring back EMOTIONS like in hard sci-fi titles back from the past. No Man's Sky probably gonna make it. Now it's your turn.

Mass effect's exploration is a joke frm day one, and it's certainly NOT hard sci-fi.

No man's sky looks amazing though.

I'm well aware it's not hard sci-fi, but it's indeed what I'm saying here. They should make it hard, they should do soap opera, wide team, emotions within, etc. But bringing Mako, very underraded amongst the fans concept... Well, it should be treated like something that is a prologue to something even bigger.
