I don't think something so simplistic as the color thing is enough to base anything on, but I agree that given the recent trailer, the Inquisitor was clearly touched by some kind of spirit. The few time Wynnes and Anders spirit manifest themselve they are usually very sparkly and light blue. So if we use that as a basis then its quite possible the inquisitor was touched by a spirit.
On the subject of wisps: I wonder if they are influenced by thier environment and who controls them?
QUESTION Coles' Spirit

It's not really the same situation at all. Anders was an adult who was possessed. Cole is a child, in a sense, so it's not going to happen. As David Gaider said:
“Physically, Cole is an adult. Mentally, he is not. He does not understand sex, much as a child would not, and this is explicitly stated in the book [Asunder]."
So, it's a very different situation. Whatever Cole is, he's not some ancient entity who's aware enough to be romanceable. Again, why I think he's a newborn spirit.
Technically Anders was not possessed because he allowed Justice to merge with him. Anders agreed to it, it is not possession.
But I wasn't speaking of sex. why is everything about sex ;~;. But Cole would be a nice option to have though, if he didn't have the child-like mentality. Cullen is the only straight option for females.
But I haven't read much of Asunder so I've read about the spirit on the forums but didn't actually know it was a "newborn/child" type of spirit.

There is no 100% proof he is a newborn spirit, that is pure theory crafting. There is a lengthy write-up with facts about Cole on the first post of the Cole thread if you want to know more stuff. Unless you want to just finish Asunder, in which case I'd avoid the Cole thread if you don't like spoilers. ![]()
Basically nothing about what Cole is can really be said "he is this" because the book was left open for us to be guessing until Inquisition.

I've forgotten my ways that I shouldn't listen to everything someone tells me on BSN.

It's extrapolation from Gaider said, given the quote above - I didn't quote the part where he said (half in jest, I hope!) that anyone who thinks of romancing Cole is a bad person ![]()
If Cole were simply disoriented from his trip through the Veil, I don't think he'd have been so adamant. There are no similar issues with Justice when romancing Anders, for instance, so it's not just because he's a spirit. And as been pointed out in another thread in the DA2 subforums, Merrill is young, naive, and completely disoriented to the point of constantly getting lost in the human world, and yet she's a romance option. It implies Cole is one step beyond these, so I figure he's young for a Fade creature.

For most people, romance implies sex. I don't think it's a huge leap.
And Iron Bull is an option too. Or is the fact that he's bisexual somehow bad...?

I was talking about him being a newborn spirit and referring to any other posts talking about what type of spirit he is. I do not care about the romance thing. There is no guarantee he is, it is indeed just your theory. There is nothing wrong with it but I was simply correcting them so they didn't take it away as a fact.
But if you want to know Gaider has already corrected himself and specified he simply means Cole is not socially developed enough to consent, and that people blew the "child" comment out of proportion.

"He is a ghost in the shadows, walking unnoticed through crowds. He can slit an enemy's throat before they even realize he's there, and slip away, never to be seen again. Those few who do notice him soon forget he ever existed… and Cole isn't certain that he does exist. He is a spirit, impossibly caught between the immaterial realm of the Fade and the confusing realities of our physical world, but does that make him real? Does it make him human or a demonic pretender, as some believe?
All Cole knows for certain is that the world is full of pain and he must find his place within it. Those who wish to restore order and help the helpless will find him a strange but unwavering ally. Those who use their power for selfish reasons may never see Cole again—if they remember that he was there to begin with."
There you have it.

I did not know that. Though if he's effectively a child when it comes to romance, does that mean other spirits are as well...? Or just him?
The first possibility leads down all kinds of strange areas. Demons are a kind of spirit after all. If Desire Demons can't give consent, it puts a very, very strange spin on their usual place in the story! Not to mention on romancing Anders/Justice (which was a strange area to begin with).
It seems more likely that Cole specifically is "effectively" a child, and other spirits are not. If a Desire Demon can give consent and Cole can't, is that because his crossing of the Veil damaged him somehow? Or it it because he was somehow not fully formed when he made the crossing?
(I don't expect we'll have answers before Inquisition, if then, but it's something to wonder about.)

I'm not to excited about Iron Bull I feel he'll basically be a different race James Vega.
But him being bisexual I don't really care, I think it's odd that they'd make him bisexual but if not people bitch so BioWare tries to people please that's how we ended up with all bisexual characters in DA:2 leaving Sebastian the only straight guy.
Just my main characters are 95% Human. In my retrospect a human of mine would not romance a Qunari or an elf or a dwarf. So that leaves Cullen so my hopes were up for Cole.
