Worth it?

I flat out don't consider the game complete without Sebastian, MOTA, and Legacy.

It feels only about 90% finished.

I would say to get the DLC. The prince was fun to play and well worth it.

DLC was worth getting, in my opinion it is some of the better work done by bioware and makes me weep for the potential the expansion had.

If you were to buy one DLC.  Get Legacy, I have a strong feeling that it is tied to Inquistion

The only one I played was Legacy, and I hated it.  It took most of the things that were wrong with DA2 and made them worse.

Uhhh, now I'm curious here, what things did you feel it made worse?

The contrived encounter design. The auto-dialogue. The absurdly proportioned gear.

Seriously, though, both take away from the reused environments and overharping on Mage/Templars.

Auto-dialogue is clear enough, and is apparent with Hawke's more frequent inclusion in party banter, but I'm not sure what you mean by the other things. How is the encounter design any more contrived than the vanilla game, and to what gear are you referring to? If anything, the only gear I had a problem with was the rogue version of the Hawke's Key, 'cause it's ugly as sin.

The Corypheus fight alone would be sufficient to warrant this criticism, but even worse was that fight with the three golems with disparate immunities that attack only in series, even though they would be much more effective attacking in parallel.

I honestly don't remember why I thought the equipment was silly.

Corypheus fight was nice and challenging. One of the best DLC's I've ever paid for from bioware.

Well, here's my reviews if anyone wants to know whether I think they're worth it.

Dragon Age 2: Legacy

Dragon Age 2: Mark of the Assassin

I won't bother to echo the comments others have made about the features, but I will note something that I beleive wasn't advertised well enough on Mark of the Assassin and would have altered my decision to buy it.

There are quite a lot of puzzles (some optional some not) and an optional stealth "mini game" involved. Be warned when I say optional it's the default option and you have to be paying attention to what Tallis is saying to opt out of it. I HATE the stealth mini game with a passion and I'm not too keen on a lot of the other puzzles either but that is purely a personal thing.

I just felt you should be aware that they are notable features in the game distinct from the average DA2 adventure

I rather liked both options for Stealth; using it or not. My Warrior and Mage chose the faster option, but my Rogue played to his strengths, and utilized stealth. And the puzzles were not obnoxious, and easy enough to find answers quickly on walkthroughs.

Quite like MotA myself; has some of the better Boss fights in the game.

If you like stealth games I'm sure it's it's pretty good or even easy if you've been practising your ninja skills on specific games. Likewise the puzzles.

It's not my kind of thing and had I known I'm not sure I would have bought MotA if I'd known in advance, maybe i still would but it would have been nice to have known which is why I brought it up.

Not wishing to hi-jack the thread but does anyone else have problems with the pressure plate room right after the stealth game. every so often it will just lock me behind a portcullis and none of the buttons will release me and I have to go back to the start of that room again, which will then usually work  fine. I am patched up to date.
