Since from my point of view Andraste is a fictional character, I have no reason to believe or dislike her. For my characters, however, she is (was) real historical figure. I'm going to play my Inquisitor as a strongly irrationally pro-Mage anti-Circle anti-Chantry mage, who is bitter about her own fate and who holds a grudge against Andraste. Because overthrowing the evil empire which is totally cool with blood magic, slavery and sacrifices, is an admirable mission, but you know - the Circle and the Templars.... My Quizzy is not cool with it.
Though my Hawke was more pro-Circle. At least, she didn't blame Andraste for the mess. The Maker is another matter...
You can't hate Andraste. Her ashes provide virility in more intimate matters, and even cures coughing.

A city elf who was raised to believe in Andraste and the Maker but isn't fond of how humans conquered and subjugated them in their name probably wouldn't be too fond of them... (Then again, Andraste fought to free elves, so it would probably be the Maker and/or His fans they don't like, not her.)
Most of my characters are agnostic or atheist though (question the existence of the Maker and/or the Maker and Andraste as the Chant describes them, or just flat out think they aren't real), so I wouldn't know.
Do i even need to say whom i support?
._. Pretty sure every one knows whom i back as the rightful King

I once roleplayed a mage who worshipped and believed in the Maker and revered Andraste, but questioned if the Chant was being taught by the Chantry as Andraste intended it to be.
He's allied with a maleficar, Z.
Indeed, And?
So... like Anders?
Maybe, but I was playing as a maleficar long before Anders existed... plus, Anders wanted to help all mages but my Wardens were just out for themselves. I guess the similarities are actually just superficial.
Wait, was this for me or the OP? If not for me then just disregard this...
No, and I'm surprised this has it's own thread.
