A Useful Bug That Can Be Used Efficiently

So if you have this tactic on Anders:
Ally: dead Cast revive.
He will cast Revive even if Pancea is not activated. Only merril, Anders and Fenris benefit from this, Anders more than anyone as he has two active mods that must be on in order to use certain spells. Remember as long as you don't switch control it will be fine and the bug will work.

So you're saying that Anders will revive if you have that in his tactics without Panacea being activated?

Also @ others who posted
Yeah That's exactly what I'm saying, if its in the tactics and the criteria to perform the tactic is met the companion will do it and will ignore the requirements. I just tested and it works on Hawke too provided you don't switch and he remains on his own for a while.
Granted I only tested this on PC.

Nice catch. I'd him using it on Aveline and Isabela (because they're down most frequently) but assumed he was switching in and out of Panacea. Are you saying that Anders can revive himself? How would that work? Or can spirit healer Hawke's revive do the same thing if the player is controlling a different party member?

You can do this with Martyr as well. Add a tactic Health > 90% -> cast martyr, and he spams martyr even when he isn't on Vengeance mode. I noticed this in the High Dragon fight. I spec'd Anders into panacea cause I didn't know they changed the Dragon's target lock on fireballs and I was too bored to micromanage. Turned out to be a waste of a talent point, but at least I learned about the exploit ^^. It's not that useful though, you can do it without the exploit if you want to. It just needs more tactic slots.

Can anyone confirm if this is true on 360? I have a couple of battles that are kicking my a$$, and I would love to get Anders' tactics in line to help me out. Thanks.
