I always love the romances in BW games (well, the Jedi Consular one in SWTOR was a tad creepy at a couple points if you played a male character) and love more romance in their games but I also like how the romances are fueled by the surrounding events. So I'd go with no as well. But I am glad they have more romance options and dialog this time around!
Would you enjoy playing a Dating Simulator made by Bioware themselves?

Nah. I don't play video games for virtual dates. I'd rather just date a real woman.

What I'm asking is, if you were given a chance to play a game were you could romance characters to your heart's content, would you play it?
Without a backstory and something else to do? (kill space monsters/darkspawn for example) - No, probably not...I don't even like "The Sims" - I hated playing house when I was little (or at least I modified it most of the times, when my sister forced me...it became like owner and pet - not that I have any (sexual) fantasies like that ^^)so probably:
NO!
Romances in BIOWARE games are something I enjoy (hell, I want more of those - and I want them to have a larger impact on the plot...from a former lover (I want to have the option of roleplaying as a player-type character - romancing many people, breaking their hearts...and maybe getting killed in the end because of that (the woman scorned betrays you and maybe stabs you in the back or something) betraying you, to your love coming back to save you, despite you sending her away at first or something like that...but pure dating-sim? - No, I'd rather go on a real date (with a ******/over the top feminist) than wasting my time for something like that!)
greetings LAX

Even those that put a huge emphasis on romance don't just play bioware games for the romance. It's because of the whole package.

A pure Bioware dating sim would only be good for the unintentional lulz like we've seen in their pseudo-dating sims with ME and DA. Best to look elsewhere for a quality dating dim.

I can't say I'd enjoy it, but I'd like it if they made one, if only because then hopefully all the people who are only interested in Bioware games for the romances will play that while the real RPGs can focus on other things. I'm tired of looking at the DA:I boards and seeing every other thread is about the romances. Frankly, it's making me embarrassed to be a Bioware fan.

No

(or at least only if it is also acceptable to have an Orlesian dance game for Kinect or Wii)

No, because half their romance dialog is cringeworthy.

For all the positives, I'd be afraid the negatives would outweigh the positives. Most major game companies who do romances let you romance anyone you want, they don't sex-gate or race-gate, they just let you romance whoever you want, it's just nice and simple. So I'd rather one of those companies made the dating simulator, if I were to play one (I've never actually played one so I don't know exactly how they work, but I assume it's fairly obvious) . The nice thing about Bioware games is how well the romances are mixed into the overall gameplay, if there were no other gameplay, and the romance is all there is, then it wouldn't be nearly as fun. I think if I were picking a company for a dating simulator I'd go with the Saints Row 4 folks, they had a nice wide range of LIs, no limits (you could even romance the floating robot-thing if you wanted to) , a nice mix of comedic and romantic moments, the only downside was the romances weren't very deep, but if they were making a dating game that presumably wouldn't be an issue. So whoever made that game, if they want to make a dating sim, sign me up

Most likely not. Bioware characters are made interesting by their story, their interaction with other characters and the setting they are placed in. Take all of that away and reduce all characters to date-puppies with the sole goal of being romanced, and you take away my interest to romance them in the first place.

Doubt they'd bother making a full dating sim game, outside of a mobile/indie title.

No. It's a pointless and stupid accessory to put into gaming. Go watch porn.
