By the way mods, thanks for bringing this important thread to my attention. I would have missed it otherwise, so thank you.

Not sure Bioware could add the perfect mixture of creepiness plus weird and strangely captivating that the Japanese can

Much like 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, this would be one of those "so bizarre-sounding I have to see it for myself" kind of games.

Although of course I'd wait for some significant price drops first if it was a full retail game. No way I'd ever pay $60 for this.

Scary thing is that although romance isn't a big thing in BioWare games, they're not really that far from WinterWolves dating sim/rpg hybrids.

What I'm asking is, if you were given a chance to play a game were you could romance characters to your heart's content, would you play it?

Nah, I heard Mass Effect had a crap ending.

Put a tentacle somewhere in the game and they're on their way though.

We'll get there eventually with the current Bioware games anyway, You'll notice they adding more and more Romantic content with each new release if you pay attention. And the ammount of emphasis they put on it GG, I mean its the current top DAI story atm on Ign for example http://au.ign.com/ar...d-relationships

In all honesty, yes I would. I would enjoy it.

I'm not saying I would play it, or buy it, just that if I were to play such a game, I would.

BioWare is clearly the video game developer most suited to making a dating sim game. We all know how good their story and character writing is.

I think if you need a dating simulator, you need to revaluate your social habits.....

Sorry no, but I'm interested in real human beings, not pixels on a screen. Hopefully people on these forums can understand that concept.

I've never been interested in BioWare romance, it's a gimmick, and it puzzles me to no end how so many people on the forums hold it at a higher value than most other gameplay elements.

Actually, I imagine if they kept it to iOS and android they would make a small fortune. The ground that the 'shall we date' series in the iOS and android markets is nothing to laugh at, and more companies are catching onto it. The market for it is clearly there, and I'm surprised Bioware has not invested in this area yet.
