Male qunari!

Could Cadash possible know the DC warden??? Also, I am very pleased with the Dwarf background and love the look for both the Dwarf rogue and warrior! Looking forward to playing both classes as Femcadash.
Uh... No it's not. The main description just says (Qunari) "The Qunari are a race of horned giants who follow a strict religious..." and that's all. Clicking it just lowers the page to class selection and doesn't expand to the rest, and the description once you've selected race and class where you see a big picture of them doesn't show any class info.
So something is wrong here, and I can't see any of the gameplay info.
Yes it is. Read the full text before saying something is wrong.
The Qunari are a race of horned giants who follow a strict religious text known as the Qun. Those who have abandoned its principles are known as Tal-Vashoth and often work as mercenaries. Qunari characters get a bonus of 50 to Health.
See the last line? 50 points to health......
It looks like humans have the best racial bonus and qunari the worst.
While the numbers shown in the demos might not be a good indicator of what hp pools are going to be like at release, so far it looks like 50 hp is going to as much as one auto attack of a level 10 character. Then again it was alpha, but even thinking back to Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2, 50 hp was very little.
It is not an MMO so the "imbalance" seems appropriate because of the lore, but correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't the qunari vunerable to magic? I think I read it in The World of Thedas.
I wonder if human and qunari racial bonuses could still change.
She looks so friggin awesome, doe. Definitely sold on a female Qunari my first run.
If it weren't for the Cassandra romance I'd totally skip my male human warrior and go with a Fem Qunari rogue first. Damn. ![]()

My browser also won't show that... the sentence trails off, dunno why.

It doesn't work with IE or Opera, but the site seems to work fine with Chrome.
Firefox wasn't showing the page right, Opera is showing it properly and now I see the racial bonuses. That page does not look right in my Firefox browser.

Weird, Opera is what actually is working for me.
So a dwarven inquisitor is sent as a Carta spy to a chantry conclave, the qunari is hired muscle, the human (non mage) is there to help out their family, the human mage is there with a mage delegation, and the elf is a spy for the Dalish.
All seem reasonable.
I am using Firefox. Sounds like Chrome would be ideal... cause I can't see most of the pictures either.
(edit: Anyway, on topic, the background info sounds awesome for every race and class. Looking forward to trying them all eventually)

I think the demo's 800 hp was super inflated.
I'd say 300hp is more around what we'd get at level 7-8, judging by Origins and DA2.
I'd rank them:
1) Human - Extra skill beats all
2) Qunari - Extra health works against any type of attack, not just ranged or magic
3) Dwarf - Magic is very dangerous, and magic resistance is helpful
4) Elf - Ranged Defense? Umm... if you really couldn't think of anything better.

Lazy much, are we?
love the new info!
now, I have a better idea of the Inquisitors I want to create.
I'm definitely playing as an Elf. First as a mage, then a rogue.

Not lazy, my browser is literally not showing that info. In fact, the entire subsection that info is displayed in was missing, as was my ability to switch to different races with arrows and to switch genders on the pics. Opera, my backup browser, is showing the site properly.
Basically, don't be a rude ass by assuming it's laziness. ![]()
I had problem loading the page aswell however I changed the region from UK to US and the page seemed to load fine. So if any are having trouble its worth a try ![]()
I wonder if Cadash carta ever met Hakwe. From the describtion it says that they operated on streets of several Free Marches cities, which very likely could be Kirkwall, and Hawke was murdering Carta for years.
If my thoughts are correct, the dwarven Inquisitor could have some issues with Hawke, but thats a wild speculation, besides Varric killed a lot of carta too.

I remember having the same problem with the DAI site , some stuff not appearing...and somebody on the forum told us to do something, typing I can't remember what , and it worked.
I think we need to clear our web cache or something?
Edit: Ctrl + F5 on the site page might work.

To be fair her rudeness was in response to your rather rude, 'No it's not...'. Her(his?) knowledge of your browser problems is non-existent, so responding to rudeness with rudeness is about par.
But anyway lets all drop it before the fuzz comes. ![]()

Agreed. The elven bonus is kind of pathetic compared to the others. That is far too situational...

If a carta member had met my Hawke they wouldn't of lived to tell the tale! (for the xp, not cause I hate the carta ![]()
Enslaved long ago by humans, most elves still live as second-class citizens within human cities. Elves who reject this life are known as the Dalish: nomadic wanderers who strive to keep the ancient elven religion and traditions alive. You grew up in the wilderness, a member of the Lavellan Dalish clan and apprentice to its leader and guide, the Keeper. The clan wandered the northern Free Marches, and you had little need to interact with humans—until the Keeper sent you to the Chantry's conclave as a spy. What happened there, she said, would impact not only the Dalish but indeed all elves. She could not have known how right she was.
Interesting that Lavellan is also the Dalish Inquistitor's last name. I assume then we would descend from the founders of the clan...

This is an open world game, maybe the main way we find out we're being attacked is by enemies sniping us bu when we try to chase to beat them up they freaking run and keep sniping.
The page seems to be showing different things to different people anyway.
I'm guessing it's a browser issue. Has to be. I'm using Firefox and the pictures aren't appearing to me, but I can see all text just fine.
