Yep.

Hard to see their elfyness with their ears covered though. :S
I love that the rogue has a lockpicking set at their hip. The elves do look very lithe compared to the other races, as well. I like the background info ![]()

Your problem is your "NOSCRIPT" addons.
Actually no. I set it to allow scripts globally and it didn't change a thing after a reload, so I set it back to blocking scripts seeing as allowing globally didn't help.
Do we really know if stats work the same way as before? They could have changed, and Defense might be different. Or not, I dunno.
SOMETHING IMPORTANT THOUGH:
If humans get a bonus ability point at the beginning of the game...does this mean character creation will be more like Origins' was? As in, we can actually choose abilities before starting the actual game? I would very, very happy if this were so.
It was irrelevant because high defense didn't let you dodge nearly as much as it did in DAO. You could become practically untouchable with high enough defense in DAO, whereas you can't get anywhere near that even with maximum defense stats in DA2. The actual results of that stat are being more and more reduced as time goes on. I think it's to counter the fact that manually dodging attacks is doable now unlike in DAO.
Hmmmmm. We won't really know until after playing but I'd say your paragraph makes a strong case for ranged defense being useful in this game. Because DA is moving towards us being able to actually dodge huge melee attacks. But we won't be able to dodge arrows. So if archers are able to seriously blow us up, which I assume they will be, that says to me ranged defense is more important than melee defense.
While I rarely play dwarf, I must say, the whole crime family background is VERY cool.
As is that magic resistance. A flat 25% immunity to magic? Gods... Make that dwarf a Templar, and you'll pretty much just laugh in the faces of the most powerful enemy mages in the game.

Didn't notice that. That's a nice detail right there.

Good point. Enemy archers constantly ticking down your health was a huge pain in the butt in DA2, and resulted in a more-than-I-would-like amount of deaths for my Hawke's.
I've been itching to play a Dalish Mage since we first heard the option became available. Hopefully the gathering of the Dalish Clans will be interesting!
Yeah, the only browser I've tried that reliably works with all of it is Chrome. (Safari and Firefox got pieces of it).
Maybe need some more testing before they pushed it out, lol. On the other hand we need that info now!
Now, gimme a Keeper spell tree and I'll be even happier!I've been itching to play a Dalish Mage since we first heard the option became available. Hopefully the gathering of the Dalish Clans will be interesting!

If a carta member had met my Hawke they wouldn't of lived to tell the tale! (for the xp, not cause I hate the carta
Y'know what's kind of ironic? I think the best way to play DA2 is as rogue that uses his noble connections and underworld connections to rise to power... as a Kirkwall crime boss. Think about it. Rivaled Aveline is basically a crooked guard captian in Hawke's pocket. Bonus points for taking the Shadow spec, siding with Athenril, and being drinking buddies with Varric.

Your problem could still be old Firefox. Best thing is to disabled all you addons and see if there are complications with other plugins.

INDEED.

It is true that I'm usually very cautious and conservative about updates. My Firefox is version 20.0
The elves still look like stick figures I see, only taller this time. Pity.

I just noticed now that you said that, but female elven mage does seem to have some obscenely skinny arms.
I don't think the outfits help. That robe even made the female Qunari's arms look skinnier than they are so ofc they make the elves look ridiculous.

Your FF is a year old. The latest version is 31.0 but that changes a lot. But a few addons will change it back to the old familiar UI look. Or try this one: https://ftp.mozilla....sr/win32/en-US/ before the major changes.

Can't unsee! O_O

Unsurprising. I'm the type to settle on a version when I think it's stable enough to be worth using, updates always bring new bugs and annoyances and changes that are simply not worth the hassle. Too many times an update has just caused more harm than good.

Wow... they are twiggy, aren't they. ![]()
