okay I found no offers for my old 80GB Xbox 360 Pro so, I'm thinking of throwing in few other old game systems along with my old 360P.

So what X1 games will you have come November's Inquisition release?

Not a lot, given my tastes are so irritatingly... centered! I was thinking it'd just be Halo, but then I realized that between my GameFAQs board haunt and the BSN, there are bound to be a few folks on X1 who are picking up Destiny. I've heard the narrative sequences are really threadbare (which doesn't surprise me given the style with which the game is delivered) but the setting still intrigues me and it looks like it'll be another fun exception to my typical eh stance on shooters. 

 

So yeah, I think I'll get that! Maybe I'll actually attempt to play through an entire Assassin's Creed game for the first time again with Unity, also, but... I don't know, I play games kind of slowly, and that debuts just a couple of weeks ahead of Halo, which debuts just a few days ahead of ~Sacred Dragon Age~, which debuts a few days ahead of Pokemon...

Yeah, funny thing is about The Halo MCC is that I'll only have a week to play it before Inquisition launches.

 

I don't know how the hell I'm gonna deal with that.

In pain, I believe. Same here. I'm going to start from the first game again, even though it's the only one I've played, because I want to do the full experience in one sweeping performance. But... that kind of makes me think I should just wait until I'm done with Dragon Age, because that's obviously going to consume my life for weeks, what with school gobbling up the rest of it. Also, I may do a playthrough thread since some of the folks who followed my Origins and 2 nonsensical scribbling apparently actually really enjoyed them! So, man... yeah, no Halo for a while...

Yeah, good call. I definitely don't want to do them in all in a week, either. Heavens, no. I'll see if I can help you out getting re-acclimated to Halo and jump in your fire team in Destiny every now and then, they are part of my gaming schedule, and games for me coming out around those times are on handhelds anyway.

I'm a terrible person because I can't seem to get into The Witcher at all. It's no trade secret that franchise is a hotter WRPG saga than Dragon Age in the eyes of the average internet gaming fan these days, but man. Dammit, I've really tried. Granted I think part of it is that I can't play the first one and watching its cutscenes on YouTube didn't really seem to work (I think I need to watch a full playthrough because I swear terminology just got thrown around left and right without context in that video) but I tried to get past that since the second game is apparently like God's gift to modern gaming and I got about ten hours in and I wasn't really feeling the characters at all.

 

Like. Seriously. If there's one current big series I really wish I didn't have such a rare opinion on it's The Witcher, because I can't tell you the number of really intriguing-sounding conversations I've walked into and I'm that really odd fish who "must just hate RPGs or something," as they say.

S'all right brah. Some of those folks read the novels so they have more appreciation and understanding for the franchise.

 

Anyway, two games I don't currently own but will wait for, just in case they are ever made free in the Games with Gold deal-

 

Contrast and Valiant Hearts. The former I expect for sure at some point being downloadable for free, the second I imagine I'd have to wait a lot longer for if it ever happens.
