Hawke Was firstborn.

That's why I find the whole age thing to be meh
Human Inquisitors seem like they might be age restricted for the sake of common sense, but the other races' backstories seem a bit more open to interpretation when it comes to age.
Unless they go and call a Vashoth Inquisitor a 'rookie' or something silly like that.

I'm probably one of the few who doesn't mind set ages ![]()

I do. We've been stuck with young whippersnappers every game so far. :C

Would it help if I originally assumed the Inquisitor would be in their 30s? lol
It looks like the Inquisitor may be old friends of Vivienne. That will be fun to see play out.
Oh great they have Teyrns in Ostwick. Which means there's a good chance Trevalyan is distantly related Calenhad or most like Amell.
Amell most awesome family ever!! ![]()

Please, no. I am so done with the Amells.

Looks like i'm gonna have to spend some time thinking of a headcanon loophole for my human inquisitor to be on the older side.
The background did suggest that you are being pushed towards the Chantry, Templar Order, etc. whether you like it or not.
So I suppose if people want older inquisitors, they could just say their character rejected the plan set forth for them by their family?
I'm the youngest in my family, too. Trevalyan and I will have plenty in common.
As for the humans in Dragon Age being noble - I'd put that down to the fact that the other races can't really be used to tell those kinds of stories because of their histories (Qunari don't have nobles, Elves are slaves/clan members, Dwarves have the caste system).
What's it with DA and all human PC being of noble blood.
And the youngest in the family. But really, I love being a human noble so I'm happy. ![]()
I wasn't expecting Ostwick but am happy to learn about a new Marcher city. I hope we get a lot of references to the Free Marches and our home city because we already know we aren't going to the Free Marches sadly but I'm sure it will be hinted at heavily like Nevarra. Also, we got Templar relatives.

You have to be able to marry human royalty, of course!
i.e. Cassandra
Except there is no marrying love interests in this game.

Lots of commoners don't exactly have the resources and/or time to have their children trained in various arts of weapon training.
Hell, the only reason the City Elf origin had ANY training was because their mother had been a mercenary.

Who said anything about love? Kurt Trevelyan is getting sick of being the underling. HE WILL TAKE ORLAIS BY WAY OF POLTICAL MARRIAGE.
Actually he won't because he's gay.

He could marry Gaspard?
