It is much more difficult. Charge in Praetorian = dead; Charge Sion = dead; Charge flies = dead.

Not if you know how to deal with sync kill capable units, which is something a true vanguard cannot afford not to, in my opinion. Scions can be charged with impunity, praetorians a bit less but still doable...

Primes, on the other hand... No amount of skill and knowledge will save you from that bullshit.
