As if I needed even more reasons to dislike the Dalish!
And the reason for that in this case is exactly what? They refusing to let human in the clan, after caring for him and teaching him useful skills to protect himself?
That's more kind than the alienages.

Because throwing him out a child you've raised an incredibly ****ish thing to do?
It's perfectly fine that I threw out my adopted child at the age of sixteen because I taught them how to to survive on their own. Yeah I can really see that argument flying in real life.
And before anyone pulls out the "But he's human" card throwing said child out because they aren't the same race as you just makes you cruel and racist! Were it a human family adopting an elven child no-one would even think to bring up race as justification for abandoning them...
Ok rant over ![]()
DA's lore isn't real life.
They weren't being cruel by making he go, after teaching all he needed to survive. The Dalish don't let humans stay with them for many, one beyond valid, reasons.

While I acknowledge that it seems mean, keep in mind that 16 may be considered adult to them (or however old Hall was).
I'm sorry, the artwork is gorgeous, but the Keep seems very annoying. I've already played DAO & DA2 countless times, I don't need to waste more of my time clicking icons to check all the choices.
I'm guessing the beta keepers were happy with the bells and whistles, but a simple, quick, check list would do the job for me.
At the beginning of the video you see the keep uploading the heroes you have saved on your origin account. after that has happened you can click a button to uploaded it straight to the game, no need to look at anything else.
You might not have every option checked but it will have the main points.
But if you are here now I can't see you going a month from it's release to the release of the game without having a good look at all that is there.

How is forcing someone away from their adoptive family into a world they have no knowledge about and no experience with not cruel?
The keep looks amazing and I'm glad they have Varic narrating it, very nice touch. The art work is very much in the same style of the stories told in DA:O and DA:2.

Foster homes do this with Children in the real world. When you get to a certain age you have to leave.

The artwork for the Keep is definitely tippy top
Yes, not shiny or colorful enough for people. 'BiowEAre is lazy', same old same old
That's why both would probably a better solution.
If it pulls your history from Origins it should auto fill everything in for you.
If you end up going to the tapestry section you could just make sure what's important to you is accurate and then keep whatever auto filters are on the little tidbits.

Hopefully. Easy to use and easy on the eyes.

It's cruel to us, but not to the Dalish. They don't allow outsiders to join their clan. The adopter knew that going in.
Depends on how you look at it I guess. Apparently he survived, so while it was still cruel to shun him it would have been equally (if not more so) to let him die as a child instead of intervening.

I've watched the same vid that you. There's a thing called bugs
Hall is probably cool with the Dalish anyway.

Easy on the eyes - check.
I don't think I had an origin account when playing DA at all, so I'll plan on starting from scratch. Which is totally fine, because DAYUM, it's so pretty!

That's why it gives you the option to verify. Just verify the main choices you want reflected and move on.
Are we really going to start bitching about how the Keep works before we even get our hands on it?

I'll carry over my DAO and DA2 saves and from there make the necessary changes as well as go over anything I may have missed or forgotten.
Yay convenience

It was definitely a pleasant surprise that it was even a possibility to do that!

True, but there's no YMCA in Thedas.

Yay new console gen for giving a reason for making this happen

So unless you think everything is perfect, you're bitching. Oh, please.
True, but there's no YMCA in Thedas.
All are welcome in my Inquisition. There is no need for a YMCA.
