I don't think I had an origin account when playing DA at all, so I'll plan on starting from scratch. Which is totally fine, because DAYUM, it's so pretty!
Your EA account (which was necessary to play your game on PC—unless you don't have DLC maybe?) is the same as an Origin account. Which may even be the same as the login you use here on the forums? If your forum login is the same login as the one you used in the games, then it is.

The rest of the party gets the same options, so instead of eight at a time, think of it as 32 at a time.

For all we know, Neria is a famous elf or common elven name (or even just name).
There are a lot of John's in real life, for instance. My name is Riley, which is less common...but I'm still not the only one.

I thought the reason for 8 hotkeys was pretty obvious: they want to get players used to playing the SP campaign in real-time as much as possible, which you can only do if you're not going into the radial menu every other move. And if players are playing in real-time in SP, it won't be as jarring when they move over to MP and can't pause the action.

I'm an Xbox player. I think I only created an Origin account to download the Sims lol.
