There is a thing called "Don't Use the Keep" if it's so annoying to you.

 

At most, it might take you half an hour to run through it all, maybe less.

About the Keep: If we don't have one or even both of the previous games registered, will we be able to make the world state from scratch and still have access to the intro movie with Brian Bloom's narration? I'd hate to miss it just because I haven't synched in characters.

My keep-related worry is that all my Dragon Age stuff is on the boytoy's xbawks, and I haven't bought xbox live. Like, ever. So I'm not sure if I'll be able to use it. Which would be vaguely tragic, since I do want to hook my ultimate sacrifice playthrough to my favorite Awakenings Orlesian Warden to Hawke.

 

But I'll see. It does look super-cool!

I feel a little guilty for this, but I watched that video for 15 minutes and got bored.

 

I just don't care about the Keep. I'm more attached to experiencing the game than any particular world state, so I'll just use the default.

 

Note: This has nothing to do with the quality of the Keep. I'm sure it will be great.

Isn't that the point behind The Keep in the first place? Its there to allow you to make different choices and thus experience the game differently.

I'm hoping you can use the tapestry to choose everything and then 'play the movie' with Brian Bloom's narration.
