Thank god for US based conventions!

I think it's great to have at least one convention in Europe. Americans should get a taste of the late night/early morning press conference at least once a year.

I didn't sleep after THAT lol. Went to bed at 6, gave up at 7! Then started working on YouTube videos.

I think I slept an hour or two immediately after. I woke up to start working and felt physically sick!

That's about when I went to sleep... And I may have slept until 2. Nothing like getting up right before work haha! I'm so happy we won't have to stay up this time, or at least us Americans.

Turnin 23 this Nov. 24th. :P

I'm just glad I don't have to stay up again. Nice and easy on the timezones the rest of the way till release. Phew.

E3, Gamescom, and PAX next year will likely be all about "The Next Mass Effect"

Unless there's an expansion! :D

Ahh, Mass 3 burned me to the point I don't care about that franchise anymore. Like at all. Would take the hand of God to bring be back to it.

To be honest I felt that way at first, but I got over it after time passed, and I played the expanded ending stuff. I still feel the ME3 ending could have been much better, but it wasn't so bad I'm scarred for life.

Ironically, for me the biggest turn off to ME is that Shepard's story spans 3 games. If I want to make a new Shepard I feel compelled to start from the beginning... I literally cannot do a new game on ME3 without importing from ME2 (ditto for ME2 from ME). It just doesn't feel like my Shepard if I haven't played 'em all the way through. luckily ME4 will not continue the Shepard story, so I can start fresh from ME4. Also one reason I love DA, each game has a new protagonist and all I import are World States, which I have less compunction about creating artificially.

I feel like DA can avoid that ME "make me feel like I wasted my time for five years" problem because of its new protags every game. That and the always different goal per game.

Sooo who else here will actually be at PAX Prime?

This will be my third year, so I'm really stoked to go at a time when we're so close to a game launch.  Last year I missed the main panel when they announced playable qunari, so I hope I get to actually attend something that has a big "reveal" finally.

I think DAYtheELF from the BSN is going.

She's on not on the forum lately because she's avoiding DA spoilers.

Well I'll be sure to report anything interesting back here, then.  I know the big panels will likely be livestreamed, but the glorious thing about the Bioware Base is they run so many smaller panels throughout each day, and I don't think they're all recorded.  Of course, since I'm from Canada I can only connect my phone to the internet when I get wifi access, so I'll only be able to hop on when I'm at my hotel.

I feel like they're later than usual getting the Bioware Base schedule up.  Really hope it appears on the website soon!

Yeah, it's certainly cutting it close.

Last year I think it was a week or two in advance. I'm really curious to see what they're doing this year!
