I don't think they hate us...
Maybe just the crazy illogical irrational people.. but I don't think anyone likes them...
Lol I was kidding.
I don't like them either.

Well... it's still happening.
So vague, Mike. We need nouns. Names and places. And times, too. How else will I know how late I'll have to stay up?
I'm sorely tempted to offer another joke post to suit your needs, but I feel like three's really pushing it.

In my eyes there can never be too many joke posts.
I just want to know if it's multiplayer-related or not, so I know if I can sleep next weekend or not.
(Nothing against multiplayer, but since I'm not interested in playing it myself, I don't see the need to sit up until five in the morning to watch them talk about it.)
I'm sure they'll announce the schedule before next weekend.

Sure, Friday night at 6pm.
Well, Bioware Austin will be doing a hands-on demo of Shadow Realms on Friday.
I just checked the PAX showfloor map, and Bioware have two locations - a huge theatre in the Grand Hyatt Ballroom, and a smaller room that they're calling the Bioware Base on the second floor of the convention centre itself.

The "Grand Hyatt Ballroom" screams TRAILER OR DEMO OR SOMETHING to me.

On the other hand at Comic-con they were in the Grand Hyatt ***-room and all that was was a rehash of the E3 demo with 0 new content. (I was disappointed since that was the only convention I could go to in person, but I was still glad to see some action in person
.

It's the size of a theatre, so they can probably do big panels or whatever there.
(Unless it's configured as a lot of demo stations, not sure at this point.)

Well.... that "something big at the end of August" thing has me thinking it's gonna be GOOD.

The big announcement was about the big room
"Look at how big our room is, gaiz"
*lukewarm yays*
"Gaiz?"
"Gaiz pls"
"Pls this is exciting"
Where is PAX held again? Let me guess, nowhere near where I'm living?

Seattle, WA. Opposite side of the country from me.

Damn. Same here. West Coast hogs all the good events. Midwest gets no love.

DOES the Midwest ever get these kind of events/conventions?
Can't think of one off the top of my head.

Pax South is the first southern event thing I know of.
It makes sense, something like 50% of the population is within 100 miles of the ocean. Population density makes conventions more likely to occur in coastal states (although WA doesn't have that big a pop density iirc? But I do love Washington weather, it rains all the time!)
I've always wanted to live in Washington, but I live in Ohio.
Oh, uh....Qunari.
There, see? I was still on topic.
