Lol I saw that picture was so pumped I did not even read what it said!

I'm imagining a whole crowd sitting at home watching PAX with just heart shaped balloons around them
Yes, but I would have four all to myself because that's how many I was directly given. More than anyone else. If it were a competition, I would win.
I remember being a student...good times.
Is it raining down south? Beautiful day up here.
Hoping for KB/M UI in the demo.
It's raining. And it's cold. Nothing unusual to report. The warmth of my laptop light will see me through until PAX.

So, I know BioWare hasn't posted their schedule yet, but when does the con itself start in general on Friday? Wanting to know if this is a "follow it while at work" sort of thing or if nothing will really happen until the evening or...?
The exhibit hall is open 10:00 - 6:00 PST every day, and that's when the bulk of the panels will run. You can bet that any big announcements will happen in that timeframe.

Exhibitor's hall is open until 6:00, but the convention center remains open pretty much all day (past midnight).
I'm going to be there all Saturday pretty much.

True, but looking over last year's Bioware Base schedule, they didn't do anything past 6:00 p.m. Unless that's what the other big room is for? I rarely go to the evening events, but I'd stay up late for more Dragon Age.

I honestly wouldn't know since this is my first PAX, but when I was there for Sakura-Con in April, some activities continued well past midnight. Most of the 'major' events closed by 7-ish though so you're most likely correct.

My wife hates me already, but our plan is to leave Oregon at 430 am Saturday (after I've worked for 5 hours) and drive the four hours to Seattle. Then hurry into the massive queue (and stand about for at least an hour) so I can speed walk (no running) to the demo line and hopefully play before noon (after standing in line some more). Did I mention my wife hates my plan?Exhibitor's hall is open until 6:00, but the convention center remains open pretty much all day (past midnight).

[Edited: then, of course, quickly get online with my tablet so I can writeup my demo impression in this very thread]
I heart DA.

You, sir, are a trooper.
If this playable demo thing is true, I'm glad the friend I usually hang out with will be busy selling merch, as I'd feel bad making anyone else wait with me for however many hours in the lineup.

Sounds reasonable to me! Your wife must be bonkers!

I believe Bioware Austin's hands-on with Shadow Realms is from 7pm-11pm local time on Friday.
That's in the big room in the Hyatt.

Whatever happens today, I really hope they release the PAX schedule soon.
(If only so people who are actually going can plan their days out.)

Yes, the mystery is driving me crazy. The Bioware Base is at the top of my priority list, so not knowing their schedule is making the whole weekend up in the air for me right now.
It looks like the Dragon Egg Hunt will be at PAX. I am so not good at these sorts of games, I hope I can drag someone along to help me out.
