I want to violently eviscerate at many of my subjects as possible, burning chantries and circles alike, and rendering Thedas a broken, inhospitable plague zone that not even the Darkspawn will want.
Kill babies violently!

I'd much prefer to be a pacifst. Unfortunately that rather requires everyone else to acquiesce to my demands. If they resist I'll have to crack down.

Neither. I won't be a tyrant, but if I was a pacifist I wouldn't be a very good Inquisitor. My qunari mage will be chaotic good. She'll shun the system and do what she personally thinks is best. She'll avoid getting her hands dirty when possible, but won't hesitate to fight when necessary.

Might as well be a Tyrant once.

Sometimes I wonder if killing people, extorting them, kidnapping, manipulating and torturing any NPC in the game freely would force Bioware to change the title to "Psycopath simulator 2015" ![]()

I don't think "pacifist" means what people think it means. I'm seeing a lot of people claim to be pacifists but will crack down if people don't listen to them, and that is not what pacifism is about.
"Pacifism: the belief that any violence, including war, is unjustifiable under any circumstances, and that all disputes should be settled by peaceful means."
If you're using violence or force to make people listen to you, even as a last resort, then you are de facto not a pacifist. I can understand trying to pave the way so a pacifist society can flourish, or try to use pacifist means whenever physically possible. But if you're full on admitting you'll gleefully resort to violence when people don't listen to you the first time, your Inquisitor's not a pacifist. Period.

Jaime Lannister sends his regards.
It was actually his father but...you get the point
Tywin Lannister, Head of house Lannister, Warden of the West and Protector of Lannisport and Lord of Casterly Rock.

In the books, it's as I said it. Roose is told casually by Jaime to give Robb Stark his regards at his Uncle's Wedding. After taking course, just as Roose is about to stab Robb, he tells him casually that Jaime sends his regards.
