I'd say my first Inquisitor (female Qunari warrior) won't be a pacifist, but she'll be fair. Not afraid to bring the hammer down, but not about to bring it down on everyone out of spite.

Closer to pacifist I suppose - violence will always be the final option in all situations save one. 

 

Then you aren't a pacifist. Not because of the 'save one', but because you view violence as a final option.

 

Pacifists believe violence is never an option- not even in self-defense.

My Inquisitor doesn't want to rule in any fashion. He doesn't even want the job. He blames all the people in power; the nobles, the Chantry, the mages, and the Templars, for creating this whole crisis and for battling for power while common people suffer beneath their notice. He wants to protect the common people that the powerful ignore and punish the powerful for their arrogance. Mage, Templar, noble, Chantry, it doesn't matter to him, they are all responsible. Those who harm the vulnerable and the innocent, no matter their side, will get no mercy. "Altruism with extreme prejudice" will be his credo.

All I know is that my Qunari Rogue will be a giant Chantry Zealot and be incredibly ruthless. Don't know yet for my Human Mage

I'm trying to be different kind of ruler with different quizzys but mostly pacifist though.

I will also be a human warrior and devout to the Maker, crushing the mage rebellion (and elves) and will specialize as a Templar. Hopefully put Gaspard on the Orlesian throne too. I'm so glad the human origins came from a noble and pious family, it fits so perfectly with how I plan to play

I think when OP said "pacifist", he was thinking along the lines of "just" or " temperate" rather literally non-violent.
