You have to earn a Korgan's loyalty with headbutting at the beginning, and between waves, and each time you pass one another. Then maybe they'll stand around for your ridiculous objectives.

I don't notice any racial preference for stupidity. Bad players come in all shapes. Honestly, I'm not sure why anyone bothers to run around killing stuff during wave 11 when it will come right to you. I just don't like the risk of not getting back to the extraction zone, and would rather defend it, even as a Krogan. And I always try to contribute to objectives as best I can.

 

Yesterday I had to really carry a pug as a juggernaut, and especially when you're that slow you don't want to get bogged down far from the extraction zone. So I headed back to it first thing on wave 11, and no one else did. Everyone died but me. None of them were Krogan.

Slightly on topic:  my 4 year old asked to play today, so I gave him white/geth/bronze with the warlord.  He made it to wave 4 and he's terrible at video games.

You should give him a Juggernaut and just tell him to press melee the entire game. I'd be disappointed if he didn't make to at least wave 6.

They are, a class that is supposed to be a close fighting melee class is massively handicapped by being slow, no dodge, a huge hit box, a bad dyanmic in which you have to chose melee or health and shields.  They can't keep up with the other classes if you have people close in ability.  It's a pity but it's the truth imo.  They can play great for 3 waves then sit out the next one after being sync'd.  For being such a great war like race with double organs they got the shat from bioware.  Freakin well played volus are more surviveable.

Just because you can't play krogan without getting synced, doesn't mean that no one else can.  I've played dozens and dozens of matches as each type of krogan without getting synced or going down on silver and gold (only use a few kits overall for plat).  People say that the AIU and Asari Huntress are OP, but I can't play either of them without getting downed, so it depends on your individual skill with each kit.  Seriously, don't say a class sucks because you can't play it.
