1. Human Warrior
2. Human Mage
3. Qunari Warrior
4. Human mage
5. Elven Warrior
6. Elven Rouge
7. Dwarven Warrior
This was my original plan anyways.
1. Human Warrior
2. Human Mage
3. Qunari Warrior
4. Human mage
5. Elven Warrior
6. Elven Rouge
7. Dwarven Warrior
This was my original plan anyways.
1. Qunari Mage
2. Human Warrior
3. Elven Mage
4. Human Mage
5. Qunari Warrior
6. Elven Rogue
7. Dwarven Rogue
It's pretty much humans all the way down for me.
Qunari/Mage
Dwarf/Rogue
Elf/Mage
Qunari/Rogue
Human/Rogue
Elf/Rogue
Human/Mage
I usually prefer rogues, but besides the typical human circle mage, I find the mage storylines really interesting this time.
Elf male Mage
Dwarf Rogue
Qunari Warrior
No interest in the humans.
01. Human Mage (I like the faint connection to nobility plus being part of a delegate of mages as the reason for being at the Peace Summit)
02. Human Warrior/Rogue, can go either way. Partial to Rogues but Warriors might fit the whole Inquisition theme better (also like the non-mage's family being involved as Templars/Chantry members, adds relevance and importance to my character)
03. Elven Warrior/Rogue, leaning heavily towards Rogue since I think the class suits Elves better (Dalish hunter...awesome!)
04. Elven Mage (Dalish first/apprentice, personally I like Elven Rogues better but Elven Mages come second)
05. Dwarf Warrior/Rogue, part of me wants to recreate the Dwarf Templar experience I had in Origins (Warrior), another wants to see a miniature whirling dervish of daggers and go against the whole Dwarves are Warriors meme (Rogue)- (seems similar to the Dwarf Commoner but on a 'surface level'-pun intended-still interested to see why dwarves would go spying on humans in the first place though)
06. Qunari Mage (meh to the whole mercenary thing, but since Qunari Mage is a real challenge in a society where Qunari alone are feared and mistrusted, plus being a mage lends to distrust among humans AND Qunari, it will be interesting to see how that goes).
07. Qunari Warrior/Rogue, leaning towards Warrior due to their size (mercenary thing, sounds a bit generic. But we'll see.)
1. Qunari mage
2. Human mage
3. Human rogue
4. Elven mage
5. Elven rogue
I think out of all the backgrounds, the human and elven ones sound the most interesting. That said, I was thinking my first playthrough would be a human rogue until I saw Maleficent back in May.
Haven't changed my mind yet!
The most invested in this story is the human mage. Part of the circle. Life hangs on a thread, while running from the chantry.
Other people might be foreign to this conflict. However, human mage has only seen this conflict throught his life and nothing else.
Everything else is perhaps on the same bar.
1. Elven female mage - for me this origin is most interesting, never before we could be " The First" with all it's resposibility to the clan, and I think this origin could offer a bit different view of the mage/templar conflict. I believe elven history is most mysterious and interesting. Plus, my mage will fall in love with Cullen immediately ![]()
2. Human rogue - also interesting origin, raised to be a templar, rebelled against it but protective of his/her family. Havent decided gender yet, maybe male who will romance Cassandra, she is so great:)- I wish she looked more like in DA2 though, with more dark make-up. Josephine also looks interesting, can't wait till I know her, can't wait for that game!!!
3. Qunari female warrior - because well... qunari!!! Warrior for diversity. Not sure if my character will have some romantic relationship with anyone, Iron bull looks and from what I gathered is repulsive, but funny, wonder if I will ever like him. And she will be so tall, it would feel weird to romance anyone from different race I guess, but I may be wrong.
Don't know when I will have time for all these playthroughts though or even just one! I will have so much to do and change in my life, like having my first baby in December and grow up some more!
Anyone of you saw an adult mother playing DA while her baby sleeps? I have some doubts guys ;-) but I preordered!
Nothing changed, still love dem Dorfs.
And I want to try everything.
1. Dwarf Rogue - my 'canon' playthrough where I will do whatever comes naturally to me, including ****-ups
2. Qunari Mage - where I do everything differently
3. Elf Warrior - my possible 'evil' run
4. Human Mage
5. Dwarf Warrior
6. Human Rogue/whatever I fancy
7 8 9 etc etc
Human/ Warrior
Qunari/Warrior
Human/Mage
Everything else is Eh for me
Given the backgrounds, my interest is Qunari > Dwarf > Human > Elf.
My play order will probably be:
1. Female Human Warrior
2. Female Qunari Rogue
3. Female Human Mage
4. Male Elf Rogue
5. Female Elf Mage
6. Female Dwarf Rogue
7. Male Qunari Mage
8. Male Human Warrior
9. Female Dwarf Warrior
Level of Interest.
My Canon.
Male Dalish Elf Mage.
Order of Playthrough.
1. Human Mage
2. Qunari Rogue/Warrior
3. Dalish Warrior/Rogue
4. Qunari Mage
5. Dwarven Warrior/Rogue
6. Human Rogue/Warrior
7. Dalish Mage
Canon and first playthrough will be my Human Mage.
No idea about playthrough order except my first PC will be a rogue elf.
Level of interest:
1. Dalish rogue
2. Human mage
3. Warrior human
4. Qunari warrior
6. Qunari mage
The background reveal only diminished my interest in the Dalish mage because it seems we'll be a First and I didn't want that. Got more hyped about everything else.
Order of interest:
1) Dalish mage
2) Dalish rogue
3) Qunari warrior
4) Qunari mage
5) Dwarf rogue
6) Dalish warrior
7) Qunari rogue
8) Dwarf warrior
9) Human rogue
10) Human mage
11) Human warrior
Why? Rogues are my favorite class and Dalish is my favorite to play as. I have a hard time imagining a Qunari rogue, otherwise that'd be higher up. The opportunity to play as a Dalish mage is just great, imo. I don't really like playing humans as I view them as being a bit too generic for my tastes. Similar reason behind why Dwarf warrior is low on the list. Dalish warrior doesn't feel... right, imo. I view the Dalish as either being mages or rogues, so I don't think warrior suits them, but to each his own.
In order of what I'm going to play? Well, I only have 3 Inquisitors planned atm.
1) Dalish rogue
2) Qunari warrior
3) Dwarf rogue
I might go with human for my 4th Inquisitor, but it depends on DA:I's story arch. Maybe human mage, but idk. Might also go with Dalish or Qunari mage. It's a toss-up, atm. * shrugs *
I like the humans, but I think it's a little odd that one would choose to go to the Templars if a Warrior and the Chantry if a rogue. Buh? Why does the Chantry needs rogues. I could understand just the Templars.
The elves...Why would they feel the need to spy? I just don't get it. I'll still play one, but maybe it'll make sense when I play it.
The dwarf starts as a hired criminal, good, sounds like a ruthless playthrough.
The Qunari says Tal-Vashoth, and they left qunari lands. But are they truly Tal-Vashoth and they left the Qun, or were they never introduced to it? Well, I think it would matter little to the barbarian Qunari.
1. Human Mage
2. Dwarf
3. The rest
Same I did with DAO and in the same order.
1.Human Male Warrior -> LI Vivienne/Cassandra
2.Elf Female Mage -> LI Ironbull
3.Dwarf Male Warrior -> None or LI Dorian..
4.Elf Male Rogue -> LI Cassandra/Vivienne
I love romancing companions though.
AFTER THIS
5.Dwarf female Rogue -> LI Varric/Solas
6.Human Female Mage -> LI Josephine
7.Elf Female Warrior -> LI Sera
8.Qunari Female mage -> LI maybe Cullen/IronBull
THEN AFTER THIS.......I'll try the rest class/race.
9. Human Female Rogue -> Cullen
10. Qunari Male Warrior - Tank -> LI Iron Bull.
11. Qunari Male - Female Rogue... I'm not sure if I'm going to play a Qunari Rogue..........
Human Mage
Elf Rouge
Elf Mage
Human Warrior
Qunari
Dwarf
Although the more I read up on it the more I like the normal Human Noble story...I would like the Elves more, but I'm not crazy about the Dalish.
Elf
Human
Dwarf - hardly ever played as them, just lost interest, but the cadash crime family sounds interesting, not enough to break up my list though
Qunari - will only play if it has an achievement associated with it or when im on like my 34th playthrough 3 years from now
Qunari Warrior/Rogue.
Elven Mage.
Dwarf Rogue/Warrior.
Qunari Mage.
Elven Rogue/Warrior.
Humans. Filthy Humans.
1. Qunari Warrior
2. Human Rogue
3. Qunari Mage
4. Human Mage
5. Human Warrior
I have no interest in other races.
1. Qunari, still holding strong at the top spot.
2. Dwarf. Carta thug? Surface dwarf? I'm in.
3. Human. Formerly occupied the #2 spot but my interest has waned somewhat after finding out they're from Ostwick instead of Kirkwall.
4. Elf. I'm just not that big a fan.
