1. Elf Mage (sounds like we are the keepers second wootie)

2. Human Rogue/warrior (we get to be Sebastian without the wishy washy, fun)

3. Elf rogue/warrior (I love elves, what can I say?)

4. Qunari Mage (if you are gonna play an unpopular race, why not play the one that is most controversial in thedas)

5. Dwarf (I don't really like to play dwarves)

6. Human Mage (I'm kind of sad that human mage is a circle mage for reasons I don't even understand, he could very easily move up to replace human Rogue eventually though, cause I'm wacky like that)

7. Qunari Rogue/warrior  (this one is my most likely to never happen class set up.  I'm not a qun fan.)

What I'm most intrested of playing:

1. Human warrior/rogue

2. Human mage

3. Qunari

4. Dwarf

5. Dalish

What I'm going to play:

1. Qunari warrior/rogue

2. Human warrior/rogue

3. Qunari mage

4. Dalish elf

Though after hearing about backstories I want to do human mage for sure. Chantry-loving family that has mage child, puts them into Circle, Circle rebels or templars (aka Chantry) tries to kill mage child. Mage child escaped and goes against chantry. That sounds like very ragic backstory XD

Based on the back stories.

Elf>Dwarf>Human>Qunari.

I was hoping Qunari would be more interesting, but their reason for being there is literally hired muscle. The blankslate origin of DA:I.

Elf is first simply out of personal curiosity. How will he/she infiltrate the summit? What is the Keeper's motives? Then there's the added irony of a Dalish First being regarded as the Herald of Andraste.

Dwarves answer to the Carta which has a nice balance of mysterious motives and potential conflict of interest as the Inquisiton gains power.

Humans will be taking the spotlight again. Little mystery behind the background, but it will probably end up being my canon origin due to how it's intergrated into the main narrative.

Based on Origin...

Dwarf>Human>Elf>Qunari

I might be a bit biased towards the dwarves. I've always planned my first playthrough as a dwarf, but also I want to and hopefully can play someone from the Carta and Cadash family that is truly benevolent/good , wanting a change.

I thought the elves would be my second most anticipated. I love them and they're my second favorite race--I love the Dalish. BUT, After reading the humans origin and how the Trevelyan's play out... both ways as a Mage or as a Rogue/Warrior really interest me. I will probably be a warrior first.

I'm happy to be playing a Dalish Mage. Being the First to a Keeper will be exciting and II really am curious to the fate of the mages.

The Qunari aspect of playable race never grabbed me and their origin also seems the least interesting to me, but I will play a Qunari mage first  when I do decide to play one.

1. Qunari Mage (Just being a merc? Good to me)

2. Human Mage (Noble fallen from grace? Yeesss)

3. Human Warrior/Rogue (Raised in a religious household expected to follow in the footsteps? I can dig it)

4. Dwarf Warrior/Rogue (Carta is awesome. Alas my height complex).

The rest of them are in the negatives *shrug*

The reveal hasn't changed my mind at all, Dwarf Warrior, Human Mage, Qunari Warrior, Human Warrior.  I have no interest in Elves, Rogues, or Qunari Mages.

1. Human mage, male (interesting family background, good contrast with being a mage. preferably in his mid-late 20s. Romance with Cassandra would be...heated)

2. Human warrior, male (interesting family background, but still undecided if he's pro or anti chantry. In his early 30s, conflicted between Cassandra/Josephine)

3. ?

4. ?

...

...

...

...

11. Elf. Keep excelling in poverty, he/she-who-shall-not-be-played. Mwahaha

Mostly, I'm invested in not playing the same race/class combo as my canon Warden or Hawke. That rules out a Elven Rogue and Human Warrior. Also, I find the qunari to be pretty blech, so that rules out a qunari character.

My interest right now is probably Elf>Qunari>human>Dwarf but I am interested in them all

An order of what I would play would be this more or less.

Elf/Mage

Human/Warrior

Qunari/Mage

Dwarf/Warrior

Elf/Rogue

Human/Mage

Qunari/Warrior

I dunno after this.

The bolded are my first three characters, the others are not really planned and I'll probably have changed my mind by then.

Three most interesting for me are:

1. Qunari mage - Being a mercenary and someone whose abilities would have made him a pet slave among followers of the Qun, so he had no choice to do what he does as his own people would have enslaved or killed him on the spot. It also allows to fit any kind of personality to that character, even somewhat hating his own race, with only other Tal-Vashoth being an exception.

2. Dwarf - Glad they went with something different, rather than commoner or noble for "standard" dwarves they've chosen a surface dwarf. Having Carta background makes things more interesting, our character might be someone who may have enjoyed that kind of life or hated it but only did what he did out of necessity or being forced by circumstances.

3. Human mage - Now that's something I wouldn't expect to put on my list. Generally, I consider humans in fantasy (along with elves) to be the most boring race, especially with human noble background being somewhat overused, but I like that little twist on mage's background. Sent to the Circle, had to fight templars and, unlike warrior/rogue origin, clearly represents one side at the meeting.

About the same as it was before even if Elf and Dwarf did strengthen their positions

At the moment, I think I'll do:

1. Female Dalish Mage cause I love the Elven lore and I've wished to be a Dalish mage since DAO.

2. Qunari Warrior (because of the health bonus, though at some point later I might do a Qunari mage)

3. Dwarven rogue (carta rocks)

4. Human mage.

... and maybe others later.

Human Female Mage is still my first playthrough choice, seems to be fitting well.

Male Dalish or Vashoth Non-Mage is probably next, depends on appearance and how the American VA sounds.

Up for grabs after that, Human non-Mage sounds pretty interesting. Dwarf sounds...strange as an Inquisitor to me, a criminal member of a race that can't use magic getting Fade powers? I would expect many people not to believe I'm the Inquisitor lol.

This is a tough one...

1. Qunari mage

2. Human mage

3. Elf mage (could be switched with 1 or 2)

4. Elf rogue

I don't particularly like the Dalish and don't know if the Dalish PC would be interested enough in humans to truly be convincing as a leader... but I would like a larger glimpse into their culture. I don't generally like playing humans, but the backgrounds for the human characters are quite fleshed out. Lots of potential for conflicts with your family's expectations. And of course a Qunari mage is unique. I wonder how others would treat them and how they'd get along with the others.

I'm not particularly interested in the dwarf origins this time. I found the explorations of Orzammar culture in DAO quite interesting because of the polar opposite experiences of commoners and nobles. A common Carta thug? Meh, the Carta has had more than enough presence in the previous two games.

As opposed to the human commoner?

There is no human commoner origin , unless you referring to the Mage.
